Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、熱可塑性樹脂製ベルトへの桟接合方法に関す
る。
〔従来技術〕
従来、衛生上、バクテリアやカビ等の繁殖をきらう食肉
等食品の傾斜搬送、あるいは2種類以上の異種搬送物の
傾斜搬送には 桟付熱可塑性樹脂製ベルトが汎用されて
いる。
そして、かかるベルトの製造方法は、成形されたベルト
表面上に、別途成形しておいた第4図(A)、 (B)
、 (C)に示すような桟(1)を、接着剤によって接
合するのが一般的である。
しかしながら、殊かる方法によれば、接着剤の選定には
じまり、接着前処理、接着加工(温度、圧力等)専権々
の接着影響因子を解決しなければ信頼性ある強固な接合
を行なうことができない。また、桟の形状は、ベルトと
の接合面積を大きくとり強固な結合を得ようとの配慮か
ら、底面がフランジ状に形成されたものが用いられるた
め、これがベルトの柔軟性を阻害し。
径の小さなプーリ上で屈曲されて使用されると。
スリップ現象が生じたり、あるいは桟とベルト表面との
接着界面に応力集中が起こり、これが剥離の原因となっ
て桟がベルトから欠落する事態が生ずる。さらに、かか
る桟のベルトからの欠落によって 搬送物が欠落個所に
溜り2食品であればバクテリアが発生し 衛生上好まし
くなく、異種の搬送物tJfii送する場合には混合す
るという問題がある。
また、かかる桟の欠落に対して、これを補修することも
接着剤を用いての接合の場合には多大の労力を費やさね
ばならない。
〔発明が解決しようとする間鵡点〕
本発明は、かかる事情に基づいて発明されたものであっ
て、上記従来の問題点を除去した。
作業が容易で且つベルトの柔軟性を損なうことなく接合
強度を犬ならしめる熱可塑性樹脂製ベト )v%への横接合方法を提供することを目的としたもの
である。
〔解決手段〕
本発明にあっては、かかる目的を達成するために、ベル
ト本体全熱可塑性樹脂にて製したベルトの表面上に、ベ
ルト長手方向に間隔を隔てて且つベルト幅方向にベルト
本体と同材質の樹脂にて製した薄肉板状の桟を接合する
に際し。
上記桟をベルト表面上に立役配置し9次いであらかじめ
ベルト本体及び桟と同材質の樹脂で製した溶接棒を、ベ
ルト表面と桟との接合コーナー部に、該ベルト表面と溶
接棒の接合すべき接合面に該樹脂の溶融温度よりも高温
の熱風を吹付け、該接合面の表層部を溶融状態にしつつ
介挿せしめて両者全溶着一体化することを特徴とする。
ベルト本体は、材質的にはポリウレタン、ポリエステル
、ポリアミド、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリプロピレン、ポリ
エーテル等の熱可塑性樹8Fs(共重合体樹脂も含む)
が用いられ、肉厚は柔軟性、耐屈曲性等を考慮して1〜
5mm程度に形成される。
桟は、ベルト本体と同材質の鴎脂にて製され、    
  、その形状は、第1図に示す如く、薄肉板状のもの
が9幅、高さ、肉厚等適宜選定されて用いられる。
溶接棒は、上記ベルト本体及び桟と同材質の樹脂にて製
され、その形状は、ベルト表面と桟との接合コーナー部
に介挿し易くするために断面略三角形状(三角形9M形
等)に形成されるが2円形等も用いられる。
また、ベルト表面への桟の接合に際し施される熱風は、
温調付溶接治具に設けられたノズルから、適用向脂の溶
融温度より高温の熱風として吹付けられる。この熱風温
度は9作業性とも関連するが、適用樹脂の溶融温度に近
似している場合には能率が悪く、シかも十分な溶着が行
なえず、一方極端に高温すぎては、樹脂が完全に溶融し
てしまい形状保持が困難になるので。
好ましくは、適用樹脂の溶融温度の1.5〜2.5倍程
度に設定するのが接合すべき接合面の表層部のみを瞬時
に溶融し、しかも短時間で接合界面の存在しない均一溶
着を可能にする上でよい。
〔作用・効果〕
以上の構成とせる本発明の横接合方法であれば、ベルト
本体と同材質にて製した桟を、これまた同材質にて製し
た溶接棒を用いて、接合部のみの局部的な高温熱風加熱
により短時間でベルト表面上に溶着一体化することがで
きるので。
作業効率に優れると共に9品質的にも接合部の強度は、
接合界面が存在しない均一溶着によっているので、接合
による歪もなく、傾斜搬送によっても接合部が座屈しな
いほどに強力に形成される。また、桟がベルト表面上に
溶着によって大なる強度をもって接合できるため、桟の
形状は、従来のように接合面積を増大するために。
例えば桟の底部をフランジ状に形成するなど。
桟を複雑な形状にする必要もなく9本発明におけるよう
に薄肉板状のものが使用でき、桟の成形が簡略化される
と共に、かかる桟のべpト表面への接合によって、べ7
レトの柔軟性、耐屈曲性等は何ら損なわれることがない
さらに9本発明によれば、桟付熱可塑性樹脂製べ/l/
 )の製造のみならず1作業が短時間で且つ手軽に行な
えるので、ぺ#先運転時に、万一事故によって桟が欠落
した場合にも、現場にて直ちに補修が行なえる利点をも
有する。
〔実施例〕
ポリエステルmQ旨製ベルト(幅300mmv肉厚3m
m、樹脂溶融温度250°C)の表面上にベルト本体と
同材質にて製した桟(幅260坪 mm、高さ3Qm*、肉厚3mm)を従合する方法につ
いて説明する。
まず上記桟をベルト表面上の幅方向に立役配置する。次
に、あらかじめ押出成形によって該ベルト本体及び桟と
同材質のポリエヌテル樹脂にて製した第2図に示す如き
断面扇形の溶接棒を、ベルト表面と桟との接合コーナー
部に、互いの接合面に約600°Cの熱風を吹付け、該
接合面の表す部を瞬時に溶融状態処しつつ介挿して雨音
を溶着一体化した。(溶着後の状態を第3図に示す。)
この作業に要した時間は約3分であった。同様にして、
上記桟をベルト長手方向に適宜間隔を隔てて、べ711
表面上に溶着一体化した。図中、10は桟、20は溶接
棒、30はベルト本体を示すす。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第1図は本発明に用いる桟の斜視図、第2図は本発明に
用いる溶接棒の断面図、第3図は本発明によって接合さ
れた接合部構造のベルト長手方向断面図であり、第4図
(A)、 (B)、 (0)は従来の接着剤を用いる接
合方法に用いる銭形状を示す各々断面図である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 ベルト本体を熱可塑性樹脂にて製したベルトの表面上に
    、ベルト長手方向に間隔を隔てて且つベルト幅方向にベ
    ルト本体と同材質の樹脂にて製した薄肉板状の桟を接合
    する熱可塑性樹脂製ベルトへの桟接合方法であって、 上記桟をベルト表面上に立設配置し、次いであらかじめ
    ベルト本体及び桟と同材質の樹脂で製した溶接棒を、ベ
    ルト表面と桟との接合コーナー部に、該ベルト表面と溶
    接棒の接合すべき接合面に該樹脂の溶融温度よりも高温
    の熱風を吹付け、該接合面の表層部を溶融状態にしつつ
    介挿せしめて両者を溶着一体化することを特徴とする熱
    可塑性樹脂製ベルトへの桟接合方法。
