The present invention relates to a metal processing agent that has cooling, lubrication, and corrosion prevention effects and is used when processing metals such as cutting and polishing. Long-chain alkyl sulfonates or alkylaryl sulfonates and long-chain alkyl sulfonamide carboxylates are used as metalworking agents in the form of aqueous solutions or aqueous emulsions and are used in metalworking processes such as cutting. It is well known that it is used for purposes such as cooling and lubrication. Similarly, for example, the Federal Republic of Germany patent no.
No. 1298672 and Federal Republic of Germany Patent Publication no.
The sulfonamide carboxylic acid salt described in No. 2330978 also has a corrosion-inhibiting effect, and an oil-free, water-soluble metal processing agent based on this salt has been proposed. However, these conventional metalworking agents have the disadvantage that they are not biologically degradable or difficult to decompose. Therefore, the used solution could not be discharged into the purifier. Therefore, for environmental protection, it is oil-free and biologically degradable.
It is important to use an excellent metal processing agent that also has the effect of preventing corrosion of metal parts. The present inventor achieved the present invention by obtaining good results in research on this type of metal processing agent. That is, the purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and it is of course effective in cooling for metal processing, preventing corrosion of metal surfaces, and lubrication, and it is also possible to eliminate used waste liquid. The object of the invention is to provide a metalworking agent that is biologically degradable, does not harm the environment, and is convenient for disposal. According to the research of the present inventor, the general formula The alkali salts and amine salts of amidocarboxylic acids shown in
It was unexpectedly discovered that it has excellent lubricating action and excellent surface activity, has low foaming properties, and is easily biodegradable. In the above formula, R 1 is a fatty acid group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms (i.e., an alkyl-carbonyl group), and R 2 is R 1 or or hydrogen atom, R 3 is or R 4 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or 1 hydrogen atom, m is an integer of 2 to 6, n is an integer of 0 to 2, and z is an integer of 1 to 6. . The metal processing agent in the present invention is an aqueous solution or an aqueous emulsion having an amide carboxylic acid salt concentration of 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight. Note that the means for preparing this aqueous solution or aqueous emulsion can be freely selected as appropriate. Furthermore, the metal processing agent of the present invention can be applied to a metal processing area to facilitate metal processing. For example, the following compounds are applicable to the present invention. 1 N-isononanoyl-ethylenediamine-

Ru. Surprisingly, mixtures of the above compounds have better efficacy than either alone in terms of anti-corrosion effect. The corrosion prevention effect of each compound mentioned above was tested.
The test was conducted in water with a hardness of 20° dH according to DIN 51360 (filter paper test). Evaluation of the test results was based on the following criteria.

[Table] Triethanolamine (This compound is listed in the published patent application of the Federal Republic of Germany
Described in No. 2330978. )
As is clear from the comparison of the above tables, it can be seen that the compounds used in the present invention have excellent corrosion prevention effects. In addition, the triethanolamine salt solution described above was applied to the cutting part of the metal, but
Like conventional metal processing agents, it had good lubricity and was able to perform cutting well. Therefore, since the present invention uses an aqueous solution or aqueous emulsion containing an amide carboxylic acid salt as a metal processing agent, cooling during metal processing and corrosion prevention of the metal surface after processing are excellent. Since the metal processing agent of the present invention is mainly composed of an amide carboxylic acid salt, it can be biologically decomposed, and the used metal processing agent can be conveniently disposed of as is. Further, the metal processing agent of the present invention is an aqueous solution or an aqueous emulsion, and is easy to apply to the parts to be processed such as metal cutting.
