Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the labor of workers as well as to continue a winding operation without stopping the rotation of a bobbin by a method wherein a pressing roller is brought into contact with the outer surface of the coil strand to be wound around the bobbin provided on the table which will be rotated, and said roller is pushed in the radial direction of the bobbin using a pressing device. CONSTITUTION:The pressing roller 9 of a winding device is pulled backward using an air cylinder 12, the winding of a coil strand 6 is started along a bobbin 5, and when the first layer passes the position of the roller 9, the roller 9 is pushed to the outer circumferential surface of the strand 6 using a cylinder 12. Under the above-mentioned condition, the roler 9 moves along the shape of the outermost side of the strand by the rotation of a table 4, and the strand 6 is wound around the bobbin 5 while it is being pressed by the cylinder 12. As a result, the labor of the worker is reduced, and the winding work is continued without stopping the rotation of the bobbin 5, thereby enabling to cut down the working hours.
