In order to forcibly release the smoke outside when smoking inside a car, the blower of the air conditioner can be rotated in the opposite direction, but due to the constraints of installation space, a Shirotskov fan is generally used as the blower of the air conditioner. For this reason, there is a problem in that when the rotor is rotated in the opposite direction, the transmitted force is significantly reduced. Devices to solve such problems are disclosed in, for example, Utility Model Application No. 48-1347 and Utility Model Application No. 55-135611-2. The installed blower is driven to exhaust indoor air to the outside. On the other hand, with the latter, outside air is automatically introduced into the room by turning on the blower switch by using the parts required for smoking, such as an ashtray or cigarette lighter, and the outside air is used to release the indoor air from the extractor at the rear. I try to do that.

However, the former requires two blowers, resulting in a complicated structure and high cost. On the other hand, the latter has a problem in that it is difficult to release only smoke from the rear because the internal pressure increases when outside air is introduced.

This idea was created in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional system, and utilizes the existing main body duct for introducing outside air and the blower, and includes a bypass duct that communicates the indoor air outlet with the upstream side of the blower, an exhaust duct downstream of the blower, and An object of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner for an automobile that can reliably exhaust air inside a vehicle by forming an inside air exhaust path using a single blower using a damper that opens and closes both ducts.

In the above configuration, when smoking indoors, as shown in FIG. 1, when the operating lever 18 is lifted in the direction of the arrow and operated from the one-dot chain line position to the solid line position, the rotating arm 16 and both dampers 14 and 15 are moved. Each operates from the dashed-dotted line position to the solid line position, and when the blower switch is turned on in this state and the blower 2 is rotated, the suction force of the blower 2 rotating in the forward direction causes
Cigarette smoke is sucked into the main body duct 1 from an indoor air outlet 8 or a defroster 9, passes through a bypass duct 12, and is discharged to the outside of the vehicle from an exhaust duct 13.

When smoking is finished, the operating lever 18 is returned to the position indicated by the dashed-dotted line in FIG. As a result, the bypass duct 12 and the exhaust duct 13 are closed by the first and second dampers 14 and 15 as shown in FIG. 2, so that the device can be used normally. This figure shows a state in which the outside air switching lever is set to the inside air circulation mode, the outside air introduction duct 4 is closed by the three-way damper 19, and the inside air is circulated through the bypass duct 12.

The air is discharged from the exhaust duct 13 through the partition plate 21 which is closed at 2. On the other hand, when the inside air duct 23 is closed by the inside/outside air switching damper 24, the outside air is sucked by the blower 2 from the outside air introduction duct 4, and is sent into the room through the defroster 9 and the foot outlet through the upper part of the partition plate 21. In other words, smoke evacuation and ventilation can be performed at the same time.
