口並びに上記ロータの他端側のケースに形成された排気
導入口および排気吐出口とを有し、上記ロータの回転に
伴い排気の圧力波エネルギーを吸気に伝達して吸気の過
給を行う圧力波過給機を備えた過給機付エンジンにおい
て、上記吸気導入口上流の吸気通路と上記吸気吐出口下
流の吸気通路とを上記過給機をバイパスして連通ずる吸
気バイパス通路と、該吸気バイパス通路を開閉する吸気
バイパス弁と、上記排気導入口上流の排気通路と上記排
気吐出口下流の排気通路とを上記過給機をバイパスして
連通ずる排気バイパス通路と、該排気バイパス通路を開
閉する排気バイパス弁と、エンジンの運転状態に応じて
排気ガス還流の要求量が大きいとき上記吸気バイパス弁
を開方向に制御し、排気ガス還流の要求量が小さいとき
上記排気バイパス弁を開方向に制御する制御手段とを設
けたことを特徴とする過給機付エンジンの排気ガス還流
