Generally, in a mobile car wash machine, a gate-shaped traveling frame is run across a stopped vehicle to be washed, and the vehicle body surface of the vehicle is washed by car washing equipment installed on the gate-shaped traveling frame. It is well known that in order to install such a car wash on a mounting surface, it is necessary to have at least the entire length of the vehicle and space for the gate-shaped traveling frame to be separated from the vehicle and positioned in front and rear of the vehicle. As a result, a fairly large amount of space was required as a whole. Therefore, in order to reduce the occupied space as much as possible, recently, when the gate-type traveling frame moves in one direction, the trolley carrying the vehicle moves relative to the traveling frame in the opposite direction. A system has been proposed in which the length of the frame in the running direction can be shortened, thereby reducing the installation space of the car wash machine. However, with such machines, the left and right front or rear wheels of the vehicle to be washed are placed on the trolley at the same time, and the installation surface of the car wash is generally sloped from the left and right toward the center to improve water drainage. Because a part of the ramp for boarding the trolley tends to rise above the installation surface, it may be difficult to get the vehicle onto the trolley, especially for large and heavy vehicles. In the case of The vehicle hit the wheel stopper hard, and the impact was transmitted to the car wash equipment via the trolley, causing it to malfunction.

Next, to explain the operation of one embodiment of the present invention, when the vehicle V to be washed is moved in the direction of the arrow in FIGS. 1 and 2 in order to load it onto the trolley 7,
First, the left front wheel Wl of the vehicle V begins to ride onto the entry ramp 20b of the long left wheel entry platform 20, and when this advances to the central flat portion 20a, the right wheel Wr then begins to enter the right wheel entry platform 21. (Fig. 3A) And the left and right front wheels Wl,
When Wr reaches the wheel bearing surfaces 20d and 21d in front of the left and right wheel platforms 20 and 21 and presses those surfaces, the left and right wheel platforms 20 and 21 move to the left and right support shafts 24 and 21. 3 as a fulcrum in the counterclockwise direction, and the entry slope 20
b, 21b are separated from the installation surface L, and at the same time those wheel receiving surfaces 20d, 21d are removed from the wheel mounting frame 1.
8, and the left and right front wheels Wl and Wr are mounted on the wheel mounting frame 18 from the left and right wheel entry platforms 20 and 21.

After the front wheels Wl, Wr of the vehicle are mounted on the bogie 7 as described above, the gate-shaped traveling frame 1 is run in the right direction in FIGS. 1 and 2 in order to clean the body surface of the vehicle V. Operating wires 12, 12' as in
The bogie 7 travels with the vehicle V in the left direction, that is, in the direction approaching the traveling frame 1, and the vehicle body surface is cleaned by car washing equipment 5 such as a group of cleaning brushes provided on the gate-shaped traveling frame 1. Can be cleaned by brushing. If the traveling frame 1 is moved leftward, the carriage 7 travels to the right, that is, in a direction away from the traveling frame 1, via the operating wires 12, 12', returning to the state shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
Of course, in the embodiment described above, the vehicle V may be moved backwards and its left and right rear wheels may be placed on the left and right wheel platforms 20 and 21.

As described above, according to the present invention, the gate-shaped traveling frame 1 equipped with car washing equipment and the trolley 7 are associated with each other,
In a mobile car wash machine that allows them to travel relative to each other in opposite directions, the left and right wheel entry platforms 20 and 21 provided on the trolley 7 are arranged so that one of them is mounted on the gate-shaped running frame 1 rather than the other. The wheel entry platforms 20, 2 are formed long in the running direction, and
1 is movably supported on the trolley 7 so that it can follow and contact the slopes S and S' of the installation surface L of the car wash machine, so that the vehicle V to be washed has one of the left or right front wheels or rear wheels first. After entering the long wheel entry platform 20, the other person enters the short wheel entry platform 21, and furthermore, the length and short wheel entry platform 20, 21
Both are grounded on the installation surface L without any gaps, and the vehicle V smoothly and lightly slides onto the left and right wheel platforms 20, 2 without difficulty, even though the vehicle V is heavy.
1, it can be placed on the trolley 7 via the wheel 7, which makes it difficult to insert the wheels like in the conventional wheel entry platform of this type mentioned above, and also causes a large impact on the trolley and the car wash machine when entering the vehicle. There is no risk that it will cause any harm.
