[Detailed description of the invention] This invention is a non-combustible material coating that is conveniently configured to be wrapped around the outer peripheral surface of the joint of a non-combustible material-coated synthetic resin pipe by providing a non-combustible sealing layer on one side of a metal strip material. This invention relates to a joint band for synthetic resin pipe connections.

Multi-story buildings such as residential buildings, hotels, and general corporate buildings have water supply pipes, drainage pipes, ventilation pipes for exhaust pipes, and various distribution pipes that connect rooms on each floor, and synthetic resin has recently been used as the material for these pipes. Noncombustible pipes are used, which have a layer of noncombustible material on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe. These non-combustible pipes pass through fireproof sections that separate partitions between upper and lower floors and adjacent rooms, and are further supervised in multiple directions using T-shaped, Y-shaped, and L-shaped pipe joints. Even if these pipe materials and pipe fittings are coated with noncombustible material, it is unavoidable that discontinuous parts of the noncombustible material layer will form at the connection parts, and therefore, if these discontinuous parts are not made noncombustible, a fire will occur once. This causes the fire to spread to other floors or rooms as described below. In other words, if the connection part is not continuously treated to make it incombustible, the connection part at the location of the fire will immediately come into contact with direct flame, and when combustion starts, the flame will be introduced into the synthetic resin pipe and burn the synthetic resin pipe, causing combustion. When the flame propagates inside the synthetic resin pipe coated with a noncombustible material and erupts from the connection of another floor or room, the fire spreads beyond the fireproof partition wall.
Therefore, all pipe joints must be sufficiently treated to make them incombustible so as not to leave any discontinuities in the incombustible material layer.

Conventionally, attempts have been made to prevent these problems by coating the discontinuous parts of the noncombustible material layer at the joints of pipes from the outside with a noncombustible wet joint material made of cement mortar, or by wrapping metal joint bands around them. being done. However, in both cases, there are problems in nonflammable treatment, and improvements have been desired. In other words, when using the former type of joint material, the wet joint material is adjusted on site, and
It is extremely difficult to work with the thickness, width, etc. of each location with good reproducibility, and since there are so many connections, the number of man-hours is high, and the joint treatment cost alone can account for more than 10% of the total cost. This has hindered the widespread use of synthetic resin pipes coated with non-combustible materials.

In the case of the latter joint band, this method has been attempted as an alternative to the wet joint treatment method, but it must be created to suit the complex shape with steps of the discontinuous part of the non-combustible material layer at the connection part. In addition, there are processing limitations in adapting to such a complex shape, and there are also problems in terms of mass productivity, and the band has residual distortion due to the large number of bends and extensions. Perhaps for this reason, it has the problem of being extremely vulnerable to exposure to high temperatures during fires.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above, and will be described below with reference to the illustrated embodiment. The connection part to which the band according to the present invention is applied is a synthetic resin pipe 1 made of, for example, hard polyvinyl chloride, on the outer surface of which is coated with a non-combustible coating layer 2 made of cement, calcined vermiculite, perlite, etc., with inorganic fibers, mixed with water, and then molded, cured, dried, and hardened.
The first pipe 3 is a straight pipe, and the second pipe 4 is an L-shaped, T-shaped, Y-shaped or short pipe joint.
The figure shows the case of a T-shaped pipe joint.

The male part 5 is constructed by extending the synthetic resin pipe 1 from the end of the noncombustible coating layer 2. Further, the female part 6 is constructed by expanding the diameter of the synthetic resin pipe 1 and the non-combustible coating layer 2 at the end of the second pipe material 4, and the expanded diameter length and width are such that the male part 5 is closely received. .

When the male part 5 is fitted into the female part 6 described above, a connecting part 7 between the first pipe material 3 and the second pipe material 4 is formed. Attach it in a rolled shape. As shown in FIG. 3, this band 9 is made by providing an elastic, non-combustible sealing layer 11 made of a non-woven fabric such as rock wool or asbestos on one edge of one side of a metal strip material 10 having a desired width. , the sealing layer 11 is slightly shorter and narrower than the strip material 10. Therefore, the strip material 1
A first surface 12 consisting of the surface of the sealing layer 11 and a second surface 13 consisting of the strip material 10 itself are formed along the length direction on one side of the strip material 0.

A stopper 1 is provided at one end in the length direction of the strip material 10 described above.
4 is provided in an extending shape, and at the other end, an insertion part 15 through which the stopper piece 14 can be passed is formed in a protruding shape, and a reinforcing rib 16 is provided on the insertion part 15 in a raised manner.

In order to wind the band 9 formed as described above around the connecting portion 7 having a step between the first tube material 3 and the second tube material 4, the first surface 12 must be aligned with the outer circumferential surface of the end of the first tube material 3. The second surface 13 is in close contact with the end surface of the second pipe material 4.
After winding and covering the second tube member 4 so as to tightly contact the outer peripheral surface of the end thereof, the stopper piece 14 is passed through the insertion portion 15 and the stopper piece 14 is bent into a folded shape. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, the sealing layer 11 covers the outer periphery of the discontinuous portion 8 of the connecting portion 7. The state in which it is fixed using the stopper piece 14 and the insertion part 15 is shown in FIG. 2 as a cross-section taken from FIG. 1.

In the band 9 described above, the metal strip material 10
and the sealing layer 11 may be fixed with a fire-resistant adhesive or the like. However, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the strip material 10
A plurality of claw pieces 17 are punched out and formed so as to face in the length direction of the strip material 10, and the claw pieces 17 are attached to the sealing layer 1.
It is also possible to fix the sealing layer 11 by making the sealing layer 11 into a prick-like shape. In this way, the strip material 10 and the sealing layer 1
1 can be moved slightly relative to the band 9 along the length direction, so that it is possible to prevent wrinkles caused by the diameter of the sealing layer 11 being reduced and compressed when the band 9 is wound. It is preferable that the first surface 12 is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the end of the first tube 3 and the end surface of the second tube 4 so that gaps are unlikely to be formed, but even when an adhesive is used, the sealing layer 11 has elasticity. No problems will occur.

Further, on the second surface 13, low protrusions 18 are provided at appropriate intervals.
If provided, the protrusion 18 will particularly strongly engage the outer surface of the second tube material when the band is wound around the connecting portion, thereby preventing the band from slipping.

In summary, if the band of the present invention is used to wrap around the outer periphery of the stepped joints of synthetic resin pipes coated with non-flammable material, the synthetic resin pipes will not be exposed on the surface at all, so a fire may break out in a part of the building and the joints Since the flame does not come into contact with the pipe, there is no chance of the synthetic resin pipe burning. Furthermore, even if the synthetic resin pipe becomes carbonized due to high temperature, the shape of the connecting portion is maintained by the band, so that the pipe material as a whole will not be damaged. Furthermore, even if the synthetic resin pipe were to burn, and the flame would propagate inside the pipe material and the synthetic resin pipe at the connecting portion would burn, the internal flame would not be blown out to the outside, so the fire would not spread.

In addition, the band according to the present invention not only has an extremely simple structure, but also is extremely easy to install, so a large number of connections can be made in a short time, and even an amateur can do the work without any special skill. I can do it,
This will greatly contribute to the spread of synthetic resin pipes coated with non-combustible materials, which make up complex connections.
