In general wooden buildings, exterior panels are vertically or horizontally attached to the outer surface of the frame, pillars, or studs with waterproof asphalt felt interposed therebetween, and these exterior panels are nailed into place from the surface. As a result, condensed water that forms on the back of the exterior board and water that leaks from gaps in the exterior board is blocked by the close contact between the exterior board and the rim, pillars, and studs, and does not flow down, resulting in poor drainage and water leakage inside the wall. This caused water to seep into the walls, shortening the lifespan of the exterior walls.

An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and provide an exterior wall structure that allows the condensed water and water leakage to be easily discharged to the outside of the wall, especially in horizontal exterior panels.

To install this exterior board 1, as shown in the second and third figures, it is nailed and fixed to the outdoor side surfaces of the pillars 2 and studs 3 via asphalt felt 4. In this case, the vertical grooves 1a, 1b, . . . of the exterior plate 1 are arranged so as to coincide with the positions of the studs 3. A draining hardware 5 is interposed on the indoor side of the lowermost exterior plate, and the protruding inclined surface 51 of the draining hardware 5 has a certain gap with the lower end of the lowermost exterior plate. In addition, in FIG. 3, 6 is a heat insulating material, 7 is an interior board, 8 is a base, and 9 is a floor board.

In the exterior wall structure as described above, condensation water and water leakage generated on the back surface of the exterior board 1 accumulate in the V-shaped horizontal grooves 11 and 12, flow into the vertical groove 1a via the inclined grooves 11a and 12a, and flow into the studs 3. Along the front side, the liquid flows down into the inclined groove section below, and is finally discharged to the outside through the gap between the draining plate 5 and the lowermost exterior plate. It goes without saying that the vertical grooves 1a, 1b, and 1c of the upper and lower exterior panels are in communication with each other when the exterior panels are stretched. These grooves serve to improve air circulation within the outer wall.

As described above, in the present invention, an exterior plate having a plurality of horizontal grooves connected in the vertical direction on the back side is fixed to pillars and studs via a waterproof sheet, and collects condensation water and leakage water that occurs on the back side of the exterior plate and directs it downward. Since the exterior wall structure is designed to lead to water, water does not accumulate in the areas where the exterior panels are nailed to the pillars and studs, and water can easily flow down and drain away. Therefore, water will no longer infiltrate into the wall and shorten the life of the outer wall. In addition, improved ventilation inside the exterior wall reduces condensation within the wall and improves the weather resistance of the exterior panel.
