置と退避位置とを選択することにより2種類の用紙を収
納可能かつ給紙可能にした用紙カセットが案出されてい
る。しかしながら測用紙収納部は用紙収納部の上面にお
いて平行移動するのみであり、退避位置にある場合でも
その一部は用紙収納部の上方に位置している。したがっ
て用紙収納部に用紙を収納する場合には給送位置から斜
めに挿入する必要があり、測用紙収納部の下方において
収納中の用紙の先端部位置を目視により確認することが
できない。このため用紙収納作業が煩雑かつ不確実で正
規の位置に確実に収納できない場合が生じる。また用紙
収納時に用紙収納部の用紙載置板である中板をカセット
本体の底面近傍に固定させておくために複雑なロック機
構が必要であり、コストが上昇する欠点がある。
