用開口ならびに支持ガイド機構を介して、感光ド
ラムユニツトと現像ユニツトとを各別にドラム軸
芯方向に挿抜自在に設けた複写機の作像装置であ
つて、前記感光ドラムユニツトの感光ドラム軸芯
と現像ユニツトの現像ローラ軸芯の前記開口側で
の軸間寸法を所定通りに規定する軸間寸法規定部
材を、ドラム軸芯方向での移動によつて現像ユニ
ツトとの連結が解除される状態で両ユニツトにわ
たつて設けると共に、該軸間寸法規定部材に操作
用把手を形成し、かつ、前記感光ドラムユニツト
枠に止着される抜止め固定部材を、前記現像ユニ
ツトの抜出し可能の状態で前記複写機本体の前側
板に着脱自在に取付けると共に、前記軸間寸法規
定部材の現像ユニツトに対する連結状態を付勢維
持するスプリングを該軸間寸法規定部材と前記固
定部材との間に介装して、該スプリングの付勢力
に抗しての前記付勢連結の解除下での軸間寸法規
定部材の所定角回動によつて現像ユニツトを挿抜
できるようにすると共に、前記複写機本体前側板
に対する前記固定部材の連結解除の状態で感光ド
ラムユニツトを挿抜できるように構成してあるこ
とを特徴とする複写機の作像装置。
