The conventional method for producing an album mount is to fold a transparent film 37 in half, then weld the upper and lower ends 40 to form a bag, as shown in FIG. The front and back transparent films 37 of the cardboard 32 are inserted into each cardboard 32 and welded to each other at welding holes 36 provided at predetermined intervals in the cardboard to manufacture a pocket-shaped album mount. The method for manufacturing album mounts is to first fold a transparent film in half and weld the top and bottom ends to form a bag, then insert the bag-shaped transparent film one by one into cardboard by hand, and finally fold the front and back sides of the cardboard. The album mount has the disadvantage that the transparent film is welded to the welding holes in the cardboard at the welding holes in the cardboard, which is discontinuous and requires a lot of labor. The appearance of the mount is poor, and the welded part of the transparent film that protrudes from the cardboard is easily damaged when making the album mount at the factory or when used as an album book. If the welded portion of the film is damaged, the pocket-like shape of that portion will be broken, making it impossible to store photographs or the like.

These notch holes 5 are formed in the continuous cardboard 2 at regular intervals 1 at a right angle to the direction of travel of the cardboard 2, except for one end of the cardboard 2 (the right end in the direction of travel in the drawing). Welding holes 6 are formed in the continuous cardboard 2 with an interval of approximately 1/3 between the notch holes 5 and the notch holes 5. A wound transparent film 7 is provided vertically on the side where the cutout hole 5 is formed in the continuous cardboard 2 (left side in the direction of movement in the drawing), and the transparent film 7 is rolled up while repeating the continuous transparent film 7 one after another. The two-folding device 8 folds the continuous cardboard 2 into both the front and back sides to create a continuous cardboard 2.
It is continuously covered with a transparent film 7 except for one side edge.

Next, using a welding device 9 that repeatedly moves up and down, the transparent film 7 coated on both sides of the continuous cardboard 2 is sequentially welded 10, 11 through the notch holes 5 and the welding holes 6 of the cardboard 2, and the continuous An album mount 13 is made by cutting the cardboard 2 together with a transparent film 7 using a cutter 12 from approximately the center of holes 5 for notches formed in the cardboard 2 at regular intervals.

In addition, in the album mount 13 manufactured by the manufacturing method of this embodiment, as shown in FIG.
Notches are provided at the upper and lower ends except for the side edges 2', and the transparent film 7 is welded 10 at these notches, so that the upper and lower ends of the transparent film 7 and 1 of the cardboard 2
Since the upper and lower ends of the side edges 2' are straight, the appearance of the album mount 13 is good and the transparent film 7 is less likely to be damaged during use of the album mount.

In addition, in the method for manufacturing an album mount according to this embodiment, the notch holes 5 formed in the cardboard 2 are continuous, but as shown in FIG.
The notch holes 25 may be formed discontinuously at intervals of 2.

The method for manufacturing album mounts of this invention does not require much manpower and can be mass-produced continuously by machine, and the top and bottom edges of the manufactured album mounts are straight and have a good appearance, as well as transparent film. Since the transparent film does not protrude from the album mount, the transparent film is less likely to be damaged while the album mount is being used, so the album mount can be used in good condition for a long period of time.

1. Holes for notches are formed in the continuous cardboard at regular intervals except for one side edge, perpendicular to the traveling direction of the continuous cardboard, and the holes for the notches formed in the continuous cardboard are connected to each other at regular intervals. Welding holes are formed at predetermined intervals in between, and the part of the continuous cardboard in which the notch holes are formed is covered with a transparent film from one side of the continuous cardboard to the other side, and both sides of the continuous cardboard are covered with a transparent film. The method is characterized in that after the coated transparent film is welded between the notch holes and the welding holes of continuous cardboard, the continuous cardboard is cut from approximately the center of the notch holes formed in the continuous cardboard at regular intervals.
