Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本案は製造しやすく、不点灯部に対する光漏れ
のない発光ダイオード表示器に関する。
従来、第１図に示すような反射枠１４で発光ダ
イオード１２，１２を囲み、文字や数字等を表示
する発光ダイオード表示器に於ては、反射枠１４
の上方に表示を均一ならしめるための光拡散シー
ト１６と表示の輪郭を整えるためのマスク板１９
とを敷設し、着色透明の外被ケース１８で全体を
覆つていたが、光拡散シート１６を伝つて光が漏
れるため、例えば日字状の表示器で口（零）を表
示させると日のようにも見え、時として本当の日
８と見違える程である。これをなくすために板状
の樹脂成型品等により各反射窓１５，１５毎に光
拡散板を準備する事があるが、作業性が悪くしか
もコスト高となり不都合である。
本案はこのような欠点を改めるためになされた
もので、以下実施例に基づいて本案を詳細に説明
する。
第２図は本案実施例の発光ダイオード表示器の
断面図ａと、これに用いる光拡散シートの平面図
ｂである。図に於いて、１は紙エポキシ、ガラス
エポキシ等の樹脂からなるプリント基板である。
２，２はGaP等の発光ダイオードでプリント基板
１のプリントパターン３，３…上に載置固着され
ている。４は発光ダイオード２，２を囲む反射窓
５，５を有する白色樹脂成型品等の反射枠で、反
射窓５，５の上部開口端は略短冊状をなし、２つ
の日状を構成するよう配置されている。６は少な
くとも反射窓５，５の上方を覆うように反射枠４
の表面に敷設された光拡散シートであるが、第２
図ｂに示すように、反射枠の反射窓５，５が互い
に隣接する個所に対応する所には透孔７，７…が
設けてある。８は着色透明な外被ケースで、外形
を整えると共に少なうとも光拡散シート６を内包
している。
上述の例に於て、表示の文字の高さが15mmの時
を例にとつて具体的に示すならば、反射窓５，５
の表示面側開口部の大きさは巾が1.2mm長さが７
mmであり、反射窓５，５…が相互に隣接する個所
は巾が0.25乃至0.4mm長さが1.5mmある。一方光拡
散シートは光拡散乱剤等を混入したポリエステル
樹脂成型品等でなり、厚みが0.075乃至0.11mmで
透孔７，７…は巾0.2乃至0.3mm長さ３mmの長方形
又はこれを十字状に組合せた形状である。
尚、上述の例において、従来のようにマスク板
を光拡散シート６と外被ケース８の間に挿入して
もよい。
以上の如く本案は、基板と、基板の上に載置固
着された複数の発光ダイオードと、その発光ダイ
オードを囲む反射窓を複数個有する反射枠と、そ
の反射枠の上方を覆い、反射枠の反射窓と反射窓
が隣接する個所に対応する所に透孔を有した光拡
散シートと、少なくとも光拡散シートを内包する
外被ケースとを具備しているので、光拡散シート
を伝つて漏れようとした光は、透孔が光溜めの役
目をするので光の伝播がとどめられ、誤認を生ず
る程不点灯の反射窓を照らす事がなく、又光拡散
シートはあくまで一枚であり、外被ケースによつ
て位置決め固定されるので、製造が煩雑になるこ
とはない。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 基板と、基板の上に載置固着された複数の発光
    ダイオードと、その発光ダイオードを囲む反射窓
    を複数個有する反射枠と、その反射枠の上方を覆
    い、反射枠の反射窓と反射窓が隣接する個所に対
    応する所に透孔を有した光拡散シートと、少なく
    とも光拡散シートを内包する外被ケースとを具備
    した事を特徴とする発光ダイオード表示器。
