Conventional Technology Ballpoint pens for water-based ink usually have a ball holder made of resin or metal, so when conventional pigment water-based ink compositions for ballpoint pens are used, the ball does not rotate smoothly during writing. Not only does the ball squeak as it rotates, but the ball seat wears out and the ball sinks in when used, resulting in poor writing feel.9 Furthermore, wear progresses.
There were drawbacks such as the caulking part being loose and undulating, causing the ball to fall off the tip.

These fluorine-based surfactants are used in an amount of 0.0% per total amount of the composition.
It is contained in a range of 0.01 to 0.5 weight. If this content is less than 0.01 weight range, the lubricity of the composition will not be improved sufficiently, and the object of the present invention cannot be achieved.
If the weight range exceeds 0.5, the surface tension of the composition will drop significantly, resulting in ink oozing or bubbling when using a ballpoint pen.

Examples of the water-soluble resin used in the ink composition of the present invention include water-soluble acrylic resin, water-soluble styrene acrylic resin, and water-soluble a-styrene maleic acid resin. These water-soluble resins are contained in an amount of 0.5 per the total amount of the composition.
It is contained in a range of 10.0 to 10.0 weight range. This content is 0
.. If the weight width is less than 5, the pigment dispersion stability, ink lubricity, and stability over time will be poor, and if it exceeds the 10 weight width, the viscosity of the ink will increase, resulting in less ink flowing out during use, making it difficult to write. Sexuality becomes worse.

Effects of the Invention By containing a predetermined amount of a fluorosurfactant and a water-soluble resin, the pigmented water-based ink composition of the present invention suppresses chip abrasion to a low level compared to conventional pigmented water-based ink compositions, and improves initial performance. Brushability, writing performance, brush sensitivity, flowability during use, etc. are significantly improved.

The theoretical basis for this effect cannot be clearly explained, but the excellent penetrating action of fluorosurfactants allows the ink to penetrate into the small gap between the ball and the ball holder. A relatively strong thin film of the ink is formed by the water-soluble resin, which reduces the friction between the ball and the ball holder, and also has the effect of wetting the ball well, providing good first-time writing and maintaining a good writing feel.
It is presumed that it plays a role in improving writing performance.
