PURPOSE:To enable an ink ribbon to be used on both sides thereof through reversing a cassette face side back, by a construction wherein two ribbon take-up shafts fixed respectively to both ends of an ink ribbon can be fitted to ribbon-feeding driving shafts of a printer from both face-side and back-side directions of a cassette. CONSTITUTION:A multiple-type thermal ribbon 1 is taken up by the right-side take-up shaft 2, is led through a right-side idle roller 3, a thermal head 4 and a left-side idle roller 5, and an end thereof is fixed to the left-side take-up shaft 6.
