In a continuous underground wall formed by connecting unit walls, each unit wall is connected via a joint, so when used as a water-shielding wall, water-stopping performance at the joint portion becomes a problem. Therefore, attempts have been made to improve water-stopping properties by adopting joint structures that increase the contact area between the joint and concrete, and by applying waterproofing treatment to the joints.

This design is also intended to provide water-stopping properties at joints as well as walls, and it goes without saying that water-stopping properties can be maintained semi-permanently, and even after an unknown earthquake, as long as there is no destruction there In order to maintain water-stop properties, water-stop properties are provided by covering the wall surface of the continuous underground wall and the joint end of each unit wall with a water-stop sheet.

This invention for the above purpose consists of a unit wall that is first cast into a plurality of long holes drilled into the ground at required intervals, and a unit wall that is drilled after the long holes that are drilled between the unit walls. In a continuous underground wall connected through a joint, a water-stopping sheet is applied along a part of the hole wall surface and a part of the hole bottom surface over a pair of joints located at both ends of the precast unit wall, and the water-stop sheet is attached to the joint end. The joints on both ends of the water-stop sheet are inserted into the guide member protruding from the outer end of the joint, and the water-stop sheet of the post-cast unit wall is fitted into the guide member protruding from the outer end of the joint. The joint end is covered with the wall surface of each unit wall cast in the joint.

In the figure, reference numerals 11, 12, and 13 are long holes for unit walls that are excavated underground, and a pair of steel plate joints 14 that also serve as partitions are inserted into both ends of each long hole. At the inner side ends of this pair of joints 14, 14,
A water-stopping sheet 15 (for example, a sheet made of vinyl-treated nylon fabric) is provided along a portion of the hole wall surface and the hole bottom surface, with both ends thereof being watertightly fixed to the joint end up to the bottom. Also, the outer edge has a T.
A shaped guide member 20 is provided protrudingly, and this guide member 20 has cylindrical joints 1 at both ends of the water-stopping sheet.
9 and the water-stopping sheet 15 is attached to the joints 14 and 1.
It is set up over 4 days. The unit walls 16, 17, 1 are cast between the joints 14 of the respective elongated holes 11, 12, 13 using these waterproof sheets 15.
8 walls are coated.

FIG. 2 Concrete is poured between the joints 14, 14 of the long hole 11 to create the unit wall 16, and the next long hole 12 is excavated. One wall surface of the unit wall body 16 is covered with the water-stopping sheet 15.
Then, the water-stopping sheet 15 is inserted into the elongated hole 12 together with the joints 14, 14, as in the case of the elongated hole 11 described above.

Fig. 3 After pouring concrete into the pair of joints 14, 14 of the elongated hole 12 to create the unit wall 17, excavate between the unit wall 16 and both the elongated holes 11, 1.
2 is connected to form a long hole 13. Next, a water-stopping sheet 15 is inserted along the wall surface of the elongated hole 13. The insertion of this water-stopping sheet 15 is carried out at each joint 1.
Joints 1 provided at both ends of the water-stopping sheet 15 on the guide members 20, 20 at the outer ends of the water-stopping sheets 15.
This is done by inserting 9 and 19.

FIG. 4 Once the water-stop sheet 15 has been inserted into the long hole 13, concrete is poured to form the unit wall 18, so that the unit walls 16 and 17 are connected to each other by the joints 14 and 14. In addition to being connected together through
A continuous underground wall is completed in which the wall surface in contact with the ground is completely covered with water-stop sheets 15, 15.

As mentioned above, this idea involves providing a water-tight sheet that extends over the joint along part of the hole wall and bottom surface, and is watertightly fixed to the end of the joint. The end of the joint is covered along with the wall surface of the unit wall of the inner wall, and as a result, the entire underground wall is provided with water-stopping properties, so the structure of the joint part is extremely simple, yet it has good water-stopping properties.
Even if cracks occur in the wall and joint parts after a long period of time, the water-stop properties can be maintained as long as the water-stop sheet is not damaged. In addition, since no other special measures are required simply by attaching the water-tight sheet to the joints, construction is easy, and the joints bond well with the concrete, without damaging continuity. have
