キサイタコイルの正方向の電圧で充放電用コンデ
ンサを充電し、前記磁石発電機のエキサイタコイ
ルの負方向の電圧で主サイリスタを導通させて前
記充放電用コンデンサの電荷を点火コイルの一次
コイルに放電し、同二次コイルに高電圧を発生さ
せてエンジンを点火するようにした点火装置であ
つて、前記磁石発電機に補発電コイルを設けると
ともに、前記充放電用コンデンサを充電する前記
エキサイタコイルの正方向の電圧の発生後に前記
補発電コイルの出力電圧で所定時間導通する補助
サイリスタを前記主サイリスタのゲート・カソー
ド間に設け、この補助サイリスタによつて前記充
放電用コンデンサの充電直後の前記エキサイタコ
イルの負方向電圧を側路するとともに、このエキ
サイタコイルのつぎのサイクルの最初の負方向電
圧で前記主サイリスタを導通させるようにしたエ
ンジンの点火装置において、前記補助サイリスタ
のゲートにスイツチング素子を接続し、前記補助
サイリスタの導通後に前記充放電用コンデンサの
充電後の前記エキサイタコイルの負方向電圧でこ
のスイツチング素子を導通させて前記補助サイリ
スタのゲート電流を側路させるようにしたことを
