Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect effectively the smoke carried by a rising air flow by a method wherein a partition plate is provided to divide a space into upper and lower two parts, also divide an intake part into two parts. CONSTITUTION:By expanding and rising of a smoke carried by a rising air flow from lower side, the smoke carried to the front part of a hood 1 is sucked into a front intake hole divided into two parts by a partition plate 6. As the inside of the hood 1 is divided into two parts by the partition plate 6 which is extended nearly to the front part of the intake port of a fan motor 4, the air flow speed at the front intake port of the upper air duct formed by the partition plate 6 and the hood 1 is almost same as the air flow speed at the intake port of the fan motor 4. Thereby, the air flow speed at the front intake port can be easily made larger than that of the rising air flow.

成されている。

きく、箱形7−ド102から逃げてしまうという欠点を
有していた。

じとなり、容易に、前方吸込口の風速を上昇気流の風速
より大きくできるためであり、実測すると第2図のよう
に従来例のものに比して捕集効率が向上した。なお、第
3図は仕切板の設定位置による捕集効率を示している。

き、その実用的効果は犬なるものがある。
