（１）陽イオン交換膜と陰イオン交換膜とを透析室枠を
介して交互に多数配列し、前記イオン交換膜間にそれぞ
れスペーサを介在させた脱塩室および濃縮室を交互に設
けた透析槽を備えた海水淡水化用電気透析装置において
、前記脱塩室に介在させたスペーサを前記濃縮室に介在
させたスペーサよりも運転時の室内圧力に対するイオン
交換膜の少なくとも部分的なくい込みを少な（した構造
