This requires detailed adjustment and frequent cleaning, which is very troublesome, and to solve this problem, an expensive compensation circuit must be provided. From the above points, the present invention relies on a simple configuration in which two or more sets of a pair of light emitting elements and light receiving elements are provided, and the amount of light emitted by all other light emitting elements is controlled by the received light intensity of one of the pairs. The present invention attempts to provide a device that can reliably determine the drift and deterioration by determining the suitability of banknotes or the like based on the light intensity received by the light receiving element.

以下、図面と共に一実施例を詳述する。 Hereinafter, one embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

Light-emitting element I that lights up freely without being influenced by others
Upon receiving the light from A, the light receiving element 2A generates a signal, which is amplified by the amplifier 3 and then output to the comparators 4 and 5. The gate circuits 6 and 7 are normally open and the outputs of the comparators 4 and 5 are connected to the amplifier 8.
9, but it closes when printed matter such as banknotes arrives. Therefore, the output of the comparator 4 charges the capacitor 10 and is amplified by the amplifier 8, and then lights up the light emitting element IB.
The amount of light is detected by the light receiving element 2B, and its detection power is amplified by the amplifier 12 and input to the comparator 4. Similarly, the capacitor 11 is filled with the output of the comparator 5, the light emitting element 1C is lit, and the detection power of the light receiving element 2C is increased by the amplifier 1.
The signal is amplified by 3 and input to the comparator 5. With this configuration, the outputs A, B, and C of the amplifiers 3, 12, and 13 are in an equal state. When a printed matter such as a banknote to be discriminated arrives, the gate circuits 6 and 7 are closed, but since the input impedance of the amplifiers 8 and 9 is high, the capacitors 10 and 11 are connected to the amplifiers 8 and 9, respectively.
The potential immediately before the gate circuits 6 and 7 are closed is stored, and therefore the light emitting elements 1B and 1C can emit light with the amount of light immediately before the printed matter arrives. Then, the printed matter is each pair of light emitting elements 1A, 1B, 1C and light receiving elements 2A, 2B, 2C.
When the space is interrupted, the amount of reflected light or transmitted light corresponding to the printed pattern is detected by the light receiving elements 2A, 2B, and 2C, and outputs corresponding to the detected amounts are generated at A, B, and C. Although not shown, the discrimination circuit calculates the ratio of outputs A, B, and C, and determines whether this ratio is appropriate for identification. According to the present invention described in detail above, a pair of light-emitting element and a light-receiving element is used as a reference, and the light-emitting element is set as a reference light-receiving element so that the other pair of light-receiving elements can obtain the same detection force as the reference light-receiving element. The light is turned on based on the detection power of the sensor.

Then, even if the relationship between the two is cut off when a printed matter such as a banknote arrives, the other light emitting elements store the potential so that they can be lit at the same luminous intensity as just before the arrival, at least until the passage is completed. The suitability of each light-receiving element is determined based on the detection power of each light-receiving element based on the passage of the printed material. Therefore, in an optical identification device equipped with multiple sets of light-emitting elements and light-receiving elements, by configuring each set of light-receiving elements to produce an equal detection force, changes such as drift can be minimized between the reference-side elements. If this occurs, the elements in each set are unified using the new reference value, and if it occurs between the elements in another set, it can be corrected to match the reference side, ensuring accurate judgment at all times. can.
