ありかつ変速位置がニュートラルにあるときツユニルカ
ット信号を出力し、スロットル所定開度以上のときか、
あ４いはクラッチ断状態で変速位置がニュートラル以外
にあるときツユニルカット信号の出力を停止するととも
に、エンジン始動信号を出力するエンジン制御回路と、
ツユニルカット信号に基づいてエンジンへの燃料の供給
を遮断するツユニルカット手段と、エンジンの出力軸に
直結されたスタータモータと、エンジン始動信号に基づ
いてスタータモータへの通電を制御するモータ制御回路
と、を備え、前記スタータモータが環状に配設固定され
た電機子巻線と、電機子巻線の内周部に対向して環状に
配設固定された界磁巻線と、エンジンの出力軸に連結さ
れて回転するとともに電機子巻線と界磁巻線との間に位
置する歯状部を有する第１０−夕と、第１０−夕の歯状
部と所定間隔を隔てて互いに噛合する歯状部を有する第
２０−夕と、第１０−夕と第２０−夕とを連結してこれ
らと一体回転する連結部材と、を有し、界磁巻線の通電
により第１０−タと第２０−夕の歯状部にその回転方向
に沿って互いに異なる磁極を交互に誘導することを特徴
