材の外筒３内にスクリュー羽根４を外周・ に有し、か
つ内部を熱媒体で加熱可能としたスクリュー筒５をスク
リュー軸８で支承し回転自在に配備すると共に外筒３と
スクリュー筒５により形成される間隙をケーキ排出口６
側に向って順次縮小せしめ、前記スクリュー軸８の回転
で汚泥を圧搾脱水しつつ前記ケーキ排出口６から排出す
るスクリュープレス型脱水機において、 前記スクリュー筒５の汚泥供給口側をスクリュー軸８と
連結すると共にスクリュー羽根終端部のスクリュー筒５
内部に密閉部材を配設することによりスクリュー筒５内
を密閉状態となし、前記密閉部材にスチームパイプ１３
及びドレーンパイプ１４を、スクリュー筒５内へのスチ
ームの供給が可能であるように、かつスクリュー軸８と
スクリュー筒５の一体回転と無関係に固定状態にあるよ
うに接続し、さらに、スクリュー筒５内スチーム及びド
レーンの外部への漏洩゛を防止するためのシール機能を
付与してなるスクリュープレス型脱水機。 ２ 前記密閉部材を、スクリュー筒５内壁にこれと一体
回転するように設けた側板１１と、これらの一体回転と
無関係に固定配備された固定板１６とにより構成し、こ
の固定板１６に前記スチームパイプ１３及びドレーンパ
イプ１４を接続すると共に、前記シール機能を、前記側
板１１と固定板１６との面摺動及び該固定板１６内周面
と前記スクリュー軸８外周面との間隙に設けたグランド
パツキン、０リングなどのシール部材により付与した実
用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載のスクリュープレス型
