As a result, it is possible to show the driver that using the engine operating point with a lighter load and lower fuel consumption rate when driving in the gear with the lowest reduction ratio leads to economical driving. A fuel efficiency effect can be expected. However, simply driving at a moderate speed does not lead to cost savings for transportation companies.

Also, if you increase the vehicle speed too much in order to reduce this labor cost, you may be charged a penalty for exceeding the vehicle speed.

ことがわかる。This invention further enhances economical driving by displaying a comprehensive driving cost that takes into account not only fuel costs but also additional costs such as labor costs.0 [Examples of the invention] ] FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a 70-chart for explaining its operation. In FIG. 1, 1 is an engine rotation speed sensor, 2 is an engine load sensor, 3 is a used gear stage sensor, 4 is an input section for inputting the number of passengers, 5 is a central processing unit (CPU), and 6 is a display As is well known, the driving fuel consumption a (Ai//) is calculated from the engine speed (N) and load (L) and the gear stage used by the transmission (reduction ratio μm).
is determined, and the vehicle speed V (m/H) is determined based on the engine rotation speed and the gear stage used. Therefore, if the fuel cost coefficient is Ct (yen/l) and the personnel cost coefficient per hour per input is Cm (yen/H), then the total cost C ( yen/boat) can be expressed as C=Ct/a+Cm-n/V"...(1). Note that n is the number of passengers. Also,
The effective radius of the tire is 几 ('cm), the total displacement of the engine is Vs (cc), the reduction ratio of the gear stage used in the transmission is μt, the reduction ratio of the final gear stage is μf, the specific weight of the fuel is r( g/cc), and the fuel consumption rate as q(g/Pa
-H), shaft average effective pressure Pme (k&・Cm2), engine speed N (rpm), and number of passengers n (persons). Furthermore, q and l' in the above equation (2)
Product QIJ with me, engine speed N and engine load L
(M, for example, O) which can use a tick signal, or 9 referring to an appropriate map, so now we can write this as qXPme-QP-f (N,L) ””・...(3
) and also, the above equation (2) becomes . . . (6). That is, if the engine speed N, engine load, one gear stage used (reduction ratio μm), and the number of passengers n are known, it is possible to evaluate the total cost in that driving state.

U5 calculates the total (travelling) cost by calculating equation (6). More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, first, each of the above signals (N, L, gear stage tn)
(see Figure 2 ■), calculate the reduction ratio μt from the gear stage signal by referring to a predetermined map (see same ■), and calculate the function f (N, L) in equation <3) by another method. After calculating from the map (see 2), calculate the total cost (C) expressed by equation (6) (see 2). The results are displayed on the display 6 in FIG. 1 (see 0 in the same figure).

It can be seen that the cost will be 4-cost, and together with the display of monetary units, this will have the effect of helping to improve the driver's awareness. In addition, the driver can learn driving techniques for economical driving by adjusting the accelerator after setting the vehicle speed at a low cost.
