A refrigerator main body 1 has a door 2 disposed on the front, and a vegetable storage container 3 whose top surface is open is disposed at the bottom. The upper opening surface of the vegetable storage container 3 has a glass lid 6 around which a rubber gasket is arranged. The refrigerator body 1 is made up of an outer box 6, an inner box 7, and a urethane insulation material 8 injected with foam into the space of the box body, and the door 2 is made up of an outer box 6', an urethane insulation material 8', and an inner frame 9. It consists of a shelf 10 disposed on the inner frame 9, and a sealing gasket 11 is disposed around the door 2. When the vegetable storage container 3 is stored in the lower part of the refrigerator compartment 12 of the refrigerator main body 1, the upper opening surface is completely sealed by the glass lid 5 around which the rubber pankin 4 is arranged. It was like that. Therefore, it has been devised to prevent the stored vegetables 13 from drying out and withering, so that the vegetables 13 can be stored for a long period of time. However, because of the airtight structure as described above, water evaporating from vegetables, especially leafy vegetables,
A large amount of dew condensed and adhered to the inner surface of the lid 6. This is because the vegetable storage container 3 is located at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment 12, and the cold air in the refrigerator compartment 12 cools the outer surface of the lid 6, while the inside of the vegetable storage container 3 absorbs the respiratory heat of the vegetables 13. This is because the temperature is high and a temperature difference occurs on the surface of the lid 5. A large amount of water droplets adhering to the lid body 5 fall by natural fall or due to vibrations when the vegetable storage container 3 is attached and removed, and accumulate on the surface of the stored vegetables 13 and the bottom of the vegetable storage container 3. . Therefore, during the first few days of storage, the vegetables 13 are prevented from drying out and thus remain fresh;
There was a problem that the material was damaged and became slimy. As a result, vegetables could not be kept fresh for very long. In particular, if you add new vegetables (especially leafy vegetables) to vegetables that have already been stored for several days, the water that evaporates from the new vegetables will rapidly damage the previously stored vegetables and cause them to rot. There was something to do.

そこで、上記従来の欠点を解消する為に我々は第6図よ

Therefore, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, we proposed vegetable storage containers for refrigerators as shown in FIGS. 6 to 7.

The lid 2o includes a flat plate 21 made of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene and having a large number of through holes, and a double-sided 22a made of an olefin thermoplastic resin welded to one side of the flat plate 21 and protected by a surfactant or the like. It consists of a microporous membrane 22 whose portion 22b is imparted with hydrophilic properties, and a rubber packing 23 made of vinyl chloride or the like disposed around the outer periphery of the flat plate 21. and,
The vegetable storage container 18 is configured such that when the vegetable storage container 18 is stored in a predetermined position below the refrigerator compartment 19 of the refrigerator main body 14, the top opening of the container 18 is completely sealed by the lid 2°. It is located in Here, the microporous membrane 22 refers to minute pores (average pore size o) that are invisible to the naked eye.
, 06μ to 0.5μ), which allows gas to pass through but not liquids such as water. That is, it has moisture permeability but no water permeability. Further, as mentioned above, the reason why the surface is made hydrophilic is to prevent dew condensation.

With the above configuration, when fresh vegetables 24 are stored in the vegetable storage container 18, the inside of the container 18 is kept at high humidity by the moisture evaporated from the vegetables 24, and the moisture above the saturated humidity is stored in the refrigerator compartment. It collects on the surface of the microporous membrane 22 of the lid body 20, which is cooled the most because it faces the glass plate 19. However, since the surface 22a of the microporous membrane 22 is imparted with hydrophilic properties, it is difficult to cover the glass plate, etc. Unlike in the case of a body, the water does not become large droplets and adheres to the surface 22a. Then, an evaporator (not shown) of the refrigerator gradually releases the moisture to the dry upper refrigerator compartment 19, so that the inside of the vegetable storage container 18 is kept at high humidity, and water droplets fall to the surface of the vegetables and vegetables. Since the vegetables 24 do not accumulate on the bottom of the storage container 18, the stored vegetables 24 are prevented from drying and shriveling, and are not damaged by water droplets and become slimy, and can be stored for a relatively long period of time. Vegetables 24 can be stored in a fresh state. However, as described above, the microporous membrane 22 of the lid 2° is coated with a surfactant or the like on both surfaces 22a.
, 22b has been given hydrophilic properties, so it has slightly more moisture permeability than a microporous membrane that has not been subjected to any hydrophilic treatment, and also prevents food juices etc. from falling from food stored in the upper refrigerator compartment 19. As a result, there is a problem in that the surface of the lid 20 is contaminated and the stain is difficult to remove even when washed.

Then, moisture gradually permeates from the outer surface 28b of the microporous membrane 28 into a refrigerator compartment (not shown) which is dried by an evaporator (not shown) of the refrigerator. Here, the microporous membrane 28 of the present invention is! According to experiments, the moisture permeability is lower than that of the previously proposed microporous membrane 22 which has hydrophilic surfaces on both sides, and it is possible to keep the inside of the vegetable storage container at a higher humidity than before. Therefore, water droplets do not fall from the lid body 26 as in the past, and the inside of the container 26 can be kept at a higher humidity than in the past, so the vegetables 30 are not damaged by falling water and become slimy. Dry atrophy is further suppressed and the freshness of the vegetables 30 can be maintained for a long period of time.
