Abstract

PURPOSE:To integrally laminate a surface-decorating sheet with a thick thermoplastic base sheet by a method in which the surface-decorating sheet is placed on the thick base sheet heated and they are molded by vacuum or pressure molding. CONSTITUTION:An air-permeable surface-decorating sheet 2 is placed on a vacuum or pressure forming mold 1 by turning its decorating surface toward the face of the mold. A base sheet 3 preheated is placed on the sheet 2 by turning its adhesive side downwards. When the molds are sucked under vacuum condition through their vent holes, the surface-decorating sheet 2 having an air permeability and the base sheet 3 plasticized by heating are integrally molded to form a composite molding in which the surface-decorating sheet 2 is integrally laminated on the base sheet 3. The base sheet used is single sheets of ABS resin, etc., with or without inorganics, etc., having a thickness of 1m/m or more.

The above three methods are used, but in method ■,
If there is some air between the base sheet and the surface decorative sheet, it may cause blisters, poor adhesion, etc., making lamination extremely difficult, and if the base sheet is thick, vacuum forming may be difficult. Since a considerable amount of heat is required for preheating, the surface decorative sheet may melt or "stain", which is extremely difficult.

In addition, method (■) requires male and female molds, which not only makes the total mold cost extremely expensive compared to vacuum forming, but also
Since a special press machine is required, the equipment becomes extremely large-scale, and it is completely impossible to handle small-lot products such as furniture and door materials.

In method (2), the base material sheet is vacuum formed in advance and then holes are punched, and the surface decorative sheet is also vacuum formed, which not only complicates the process, but also makes the surface decorative sheet surface vacuum-formed. Since it does not touch the mold surface of the mold, it has disadvantages such as the shape of the molded object becoming moon-shaped.

Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. First, as shown in FIG. The sheet (2) is placed so that its decorative surface faces the mold surface. Then, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a base sheet that can be preheated and molded is placed on top of the sheet. (3) is placed with its adhesive coated side (3a) facing down.
The surface decorative sheet (2) has air permeability and is heated and plasticized by the heat of the base sheet (3), so it is integrally molded according to the base sheet, and when taken out from the mold after cooling. , as shown in Figure 4, the base sheet (3)
A composite molded article can be obtained in which the surface decorative sheet (2) and the decorative surface sheet (2) are integrally laminated.

In order to use these sheets in the present invention, they are processed by JI by laser processing or perforated rolls in advance.
500 per 100cc using the measurement method of 5-P-e 177
It is necessary to have an air permeability of 2 seconds or more (measured in seconds of 500 seconds or less). This is because if the time is longer than 500 seconds, the time required for integral molding will be too much, and the base sheet will cool down before being completely molded, resulting in poor molding.

The base sheet is arbitrarily selected from vacuum-formed or pressure-formable sheets depending on the hardness, rigidity, and other properties of the product. However, for use in automobile interiors, furniture, and door surface materials, certain Shape retention is required, and in general, individual sheets of ABS resin sheets with a thickness of 19 or more, polystyrene resin sheets, polypropylene resin sheets, polyethylene resin sheets, etc., or individual sheets of these It is possible to use a resin-based material mixed with inorganic materials, pulp, wood flour, etc. in the form of a sheet.

Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, it is possible to extremely efficiently manufacture a concave-convex belly assembly by one-time vacuum or pressure forming using an inexpensive and simple vacuum or pressure forming mold and vacuum forming machine or pressure forming machine. In addition, since the decorative surface of the surface decorative sheet is not heated, the surface decorative sheet will not melt or "stain" due to heating, and the surface decorative sheet will not be embossed. Even when the embossed pattern is embossed, the embossed pattern is less likely to return and the embossed pattern can be faithfully reproduced. Furthermore, since the surface of the surface decorative sheet is in direct contact with the mold, it is possible to obtain a composite molded product with good reproducibility of the shape of the mold. Furthermore, it is possible to form a combination of a surface decorative sheet and a base sheet with different preheating conditions without any problem, which is completely impossible with the method (2) of pre-laminating and vacuum or pressure forming.

A piece of vinyl chloride leather with a thickness of 02, which will become a surface decorative sheet, is perforated to have an air permeability of about 50 seconds per cc and is placed with its decorative surface facing the mold side, and the top The chloroprene adhesive that will become the base sheet is placed in the jig in advance, and the heaters on both the top and bottom sides are moved to heat the wood powder-containing polypropylene sheet. After heating, the heaters are returned to raise the vacuum molding mold. A vacuum was applied from the inside of the mold to vacuum-form the vinyl chloride leather and the polypropylene sheet containing wood powder at the same time, and after cooling, the molded product was taken out of the mold to obtain a composite molded product.
