Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of a void part by guiding and moving the volume transferring accompanied with the foaming of a foam by a baffle plate, while providing the baffle plate on the axis of the supporting member of a stay, etc. CONSTITUTION:The cavity portion where a pad part P is absent occurs easily at a corner part (a) near the rectangular end surface of an upstanding part A with a projecting stay S. Therefore, a rectangular baffle plate B is provided on the stem of the stay S correspondingly to the shape of the transverse section of said upstanding part A. The baffle plate B guides forcibly the foaming flow of foam material to the direction of the corner part. When the foaming flow of the foam material is forcibly moved to the direction of the corner part of the upstanding part A along the baffle plate B, the foaming gas with tendency of staying is moved by pushing and may be exhausted from a suitable bleeder, whereby the pad part P without defects may be molded.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, when manufacturing headrests, etc., for example,
゛Blow molding the headrest cover from parisone,
At the time of blow molding, the upper end of the shaft of the stay is inserted into the parison in advance, and after blow molding, the foam material filled in the headrest cover is foamed and hardened to form a butt part, and the upper end of the shaft of the stay is fixed with the butt part. By doing this, the headrest cover and the butt part are integrated to form a headrest with a stay protruding from the headrest cover.

However, in this headrest, when the foam material expands in volume due to foaming, it is pushed in near the corners of the cover, removing the air that existed inside the cover and the foaming gas that was not captured by the foam material during foaming. This tends to cause the product to stagnate and harden, resulting in the creation of a hollow portion where no butt exists, which can significantly impair commercial value.

In the illustrated embodiment, a case is shown in which a substantially horseshoe-shaped headrest having a cavity in the center is manufactured as an integrally formed molded product. In this headrest, a corner portion a near a rectangular end surface of a rising portion A that protrudes from the stay S is
Since this tends to create a gap where the butt part P does not exist, a rectangular baffle plate B corresponding to the cross-sectional shape is installed on the axis of the stay S at the rising part A, and the baffle plate B is used to form the foam material described later. The foaming flow is forcibly guided in the direction of the corner.

As the baffle plate B, a hard or semi-hard resin plate or a metal plate can be used, or a porous plate material that allows the foam material to pass through and guide the movement. Also,
When molding the headrest body, the butt part P may be molded by blow-molding the headrest cover C from the parison and then filling the inside with foam material and foaming and hardening. It is also possible to apply integral urethane foaming in which the upper end of the shaft of S is inserted and the headrest cover C and butt part P are foam-molded at the same time.

When blow molding is applied, first, a parison is extruded from a die head into a cylindrical shape with its lower end open, and the parison is inserted into a mold to form the headrest cover C by blowing compressed air. At that time, there is a baffle board B inside the parison.
The upper end of the shaft of the stay S equipped with the stay S is previously inserted into the cavity of the mold to form a headrest cover C in which the baffle plate B is housed. The baffle plate B accommodated in this cover C is 3 to 5 cm larger than the planar area of the rising part A of the headrest.
A porous plate material with approximately the same area can be used.Next, fill the foam material into the cover through the opening formed in a part of the headrest cover C. , the butt part P is foam-molded in the same process.

The foam material gradually increases in volume as the urethane stock solution foams, but when it gets close to the baffle plate B, it rapidly moves toward the corner of the rising part A by bypassing it, or the porous material In the baffle plate B, the light passes through the plate material and moves in the direction of the corner of the rising portion A within the gap. At that time, the foaming gas can be discharged outside through the gap between the stay S and the headrest cover C, and a groove can be formed on the axis of the stay S, or the gas can be discharged from the gap formed in the center of the headrest cover C. It can be discharged through a hole.

In this way, by forcibly moving the foaming flow of the foam material toward the corner of the rising portion A along the baffle plate B, the foaming gas that tends to stay can be suppressed and moved and discharged from an appropriate gas release point. Therefore, it is possible to form a butt portion P without any defective portions. Note that the baffle plate B may be installed and arranged in advance when the headrest cover C is molded as described above, but it can also be installed on the stay S after the headrest cover C is molded. In addition, the headrest is not limited to a substantially horseshoe-shaped headrest; even if it is a normal trapezoidal one, a large baffle plate can be installed at the bottom corner to prevent a gap from forming in the butt part. . Furthermore, although the above-described embodiments show the case of manufacturing a headrest, the present invention can be widely applied to other products such as integrally foaming a foam material within a skin material.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the method for manufacturing an integrally foamed molded product according to the present invention, the foaming flow of the foam material is rapidly moved and guided from the narrow passage to the sandwiched portion by the baffle plate, thereby eliminating the foaming gas that tends to stagnate. Since the foam material can be filled even in the corners by forcibly pressing the foam material, it is possible to prevent damage to the butt part, and when manufacturing products such as headrests, the baffle plate can be used as a support plate for supporting stays, etc. The shaft member can be firmly fixed to the butt part.
