Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate the engagement of a mooring rope with a buoy at the time of mooring of a ship, by coupling the end of the mooring rope to a remote- controlled boat, laying down the boat from the ship to the surface of water, operating the boat under remote control to turn the boat around the buoy and retrieve the boat, and using a winch to wind the mooring rope. CONSTITUTION:The end of a mooring rope or a leading rope is coupled to a remote-controlled boat. The boat is laid down from a ship to the surface of water. The boat is operated under remote control so that the boat is turned around a buoy 11 having hooks 11a and is thereafter pulled up to the ship. The leading rope or the mooring rope 16 is wound by a winch. The rope is thus engaged with the buoy 11 at the time of mooring of the ship. According to this method, an assisting ship for engaging the rope with the buoy is not needed, and all of buoy mooring work can be automatically performed through mechanical operation on the ship.

When a ship is moored to a buoy as offshore mooring9, the mooring rope or mooring chain can be used to pull out equipment on the ship or equipment on the buoy, but even in the case of a collapse, the support ship can Generally, the connection work is carried out by handling the mooring line by going back and forth between the mooring line and the ship. However, it is desirable for future super-automated ships to be able to moor automatically using equipment only on the ship's side and equipment only on the buoy's side, without the assistance of a support ship. An example of such an automated buoy mooring system is one that has been put into practical use at the Ekofisk oil field in the North Sea. This device uses a hook suspended from the bow of an approaching tanker to hook the mooring line flowing downwind from the buoy, and then wraps it around a special winch installed on the bow deck, and then transports it onto the ship. It is used for mooring. For this reason, the bow of a tanker is cut into a U-shape, and special devices such as horizontal and vertical rollers are installed on both sides and below the U-shape to reduce damage to the ropes. It is being carried out. The mooring line drawn in from here is a nylon rope with a circumference of 21 inches, and the tanker is moored with this rope wound around the winch drum five times.

The time required to reach a target is 66 minutes on average for mooring and 11 minutes on average for unraveling. The connecting time between Naori and Gohos is approximately 50 minutes, and the time required for the departure and arrival points is approximately 2 to 3 hours on average. It is hoped that the period will be shortened.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes the main body of a radio-controlled boat, and the upper center is provided with a lifting hook 2 that automatically falls down by a spring, a hanging hook hook guide 3, and an antenna 4 on the arm. A motor (not shown) that is remotely controlled through an antenna 4 is provided inside the main body 1, and the propeller 5, which rotates due to the drive of this motor, and the rudder 6, which controls the course of the boat main body 1, are moved below the waterline. In addition, on the outside of propeller 5 and rudder 6.

A rope 7 is locked with a shackle 8, and then a rope 10 exclusively for hanging is hung on the raising hook 2, and the boat body 1 is suspended from the ship to the sea surface. When the boat body 1 reaches the sea surface, the tension of the lifting rope 10 is loosened and the hoisting 7tsuk 2 falls down by the force of the spring, so the boat body 1 automatically tightens the lifting rope 1.
Freed from 0. Next, the motor inside the boat body 1 is driven via the antenna 4 by radial operation. As a result, the propeller 5 and rudder 6 are activated, and the boat body 1 runs on the sea surface while pulling the lead rope 7, and around the outer circumference of a buoy 11 with a hook angle 10 that should hold the boat, return to the sea surface. A davit 12 equipped with a hand-wound winch 16 as shown in Fig. 2 is installed at the bow of the vessel, and a lifting rope 15 equipped with 7 hooks 14 on three sides is let out at the tip of the davit 12, and The three-way hook 14 is hooked onto the guide A, and the lifting rope 15 is wound up by the hand-wound winch 16 on the ship, and the boat body 1 is accommodated. .

When the boat body 1 is accommodated, the tip of the lead rope 7 that has been layered around the outer circumference of the buoy 11 is taken into the boat. As a result, the ship has established a line to the mooring buoy 11. From now on, the mooring line 16 must be guided to the lead rope 7. The mooring work has been completed.
