Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the flowing-down of bedewed water due to combustion exhaust gas and of rain water entering from the outside of a heater on important parts by a structure wherein a water receiving pan is arranged along the outer periphery of the discharge port of a fan and, in addition, an exhaust cylinder, the bore of which is larger than the diameter of the discharge port of the fan and at the same time smaller than the outer diameter of the water receiving pan, is connected to the water receiving pan. CONSTITUTION:A water receiving pan 11 is arranged so as to contact with the outer periphery of the discharge port 8 of a fan. Further, an exhaust pipe 9', the bore of which is larger than the diameter of the discharge port 8 and at the same time smaller than the outer diameter of the water receiving pan 11, is connected to the pan 11. Bedewed water developed in the exhaust pipe 9' and rain water flowed in through the exhaust pipe 9' are temporarily accumulated in the water receiving pan 11 and then vaporized due to the high temperature developed by the exhaust gas in a heater, resulting in enabling to protect the fan 7, a heat exchanger 3, a burner 5 and the like from the water and the like. When the bedewed water and rain water, the amount of which exceeds the vaporizing capacity due to the high temperature developed by the exhaust gas, flows in the heater, the leading-out of said waters through a water lead- out piper 12 provided separately to the outside of the heater makes said protection more positive.

In this conventional example, condensed water from the combustion exhaust gas generated in the exhaust stack 9 and mountain water from outside the device flowing in through the exhaust stack 9 are directly transferred to the fan 7 and the heat exchanger 3 . It flows down into the burners 5 and leads to their damage.
