Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an ink film from being wrinkled and inexpensively perform stable transfer recording, by a simple construction wherein a cylindrical member the surface of which is provided with right and left spiral grooves is provided in proximity to a recording head, and is pressed against a cylindrical platen (functioning also as a feeding means for a recording paper) through the recording paper and an ink film. CONSTITUTION:The ink film 2 is guided by guide rollers 5, 7, and is taken up by a take-up roll 8. The recording paper 3 is pressed against a platen roller 4 by a guide roller 5 and bail rollers 9, and is fed in the direction of an arrow B by the rotating force of the platen roller 4. The surface of the guide roller 5 is provided with right and left symmetrical spiral grooves 51, and when the ink film 2 is fed, the roller 5 is rotated in the direction of an arrow C, whereby the ink film 2 is stretched in the directions of arrows D, E by a guiding function of the spiral grooves 51. Accordingly, the ink film 2 is tensioned in the width direction, is prevented from being wrinkled, and is fed to a recording head part while the degree of flatness thereof is secured between the guide roller 5 and the platen roller 4.

<Prior Art> In an electrically conductive thermal transfer recording device, a recording head is brought into close contact with a conductive layer of an infiltration film, and electricity is applied to generate heat to melt the ink layer and transfer it onto recording paper to obtain a desired recording. Ink films are required to be as thin as several tens of micrometers in terms of thermal conductivity and resolution. Since the ink film is thus thin, wrinkles are likely to occur at the contact portion between the recording head and the platen due to assembly errors of parts in the ink film transport system. Wrinkling causes poor adhesion between the recording head and the ink film, and between the ink film and the recording paper.
Good transfer recording becomes impossible. For this reason, in conventional electrical thermal transfer recording devices, high precision is required for the holding part of the ink film supply roll and the parts used in the ink film transport system, making the device expensive and becoming an obstacle to reducing costs. was.

<Objective of the Invention> The present invention provides an electrically conductive thermal transfer recording device that is capable of smooth and stable transfer recording at 0T without causing wrinkles in the ink film at the recording head portion, without requiring excessive processing precision or assembly precision of parts. The purpose is to obtain.

The recording paper 5 is pressed against the platen roller 4 by the guide roller 5 and the pushing roller 9, and is conveyed in the direction of arrow B by the rotational force of the platen roller 4. The recording head 4 is held between a guide roller 5 and a recording head 6 in close contact with each other. A conductive Im is formed on the side surface of the recording head of the ink film 2, and when the recording head 6 selectively supplies electricity to the conductive layer, the conductive layer generates heat, and the ink on the ink film is thermally melted and transferred onto the recording paper 3. , necessary characters, symbols, etc. are recorded. In this way, the ink film 2 and the recording paper 3 are conveyed in synchronization, and the recording head 6
By sequentially repeating the operation of selectively conducting electricity, multiple recordings are performed continuously.

FIG. 2 is a detailed view of the guide roller 5 shown in FIG. 1, which guides the ink film 2 and presses the recording paper 5 against the platen roller. A symmetrical spiral groove 51 is formed on the surface of the guide roller 50.
When the ink film 2 is conveyed, it rotates in the direction of arrow (j) and pulls the ink film 2 in the direction of arrow D1E by the guiding action of the spiral groove 51. In this way, the guide roller 5. Tension is applied in the width direction to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles, and flatness is ensured between the guide roller 5 and platen roller 4 before being conveyed to the recording head section.
