Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a ground conditioner consisting of dehydrated ettringite, which restores good condition of ground quickly when sprinkled over water pool in ground or soft ground. CONSTITUTION:The ground conditioner consists of dehydrated ettringite in granules obtained by drying ettringite (e.g. Satin White, a product of Shiraishi Kogyo Co.), crushing it to a particle diameter of about 7mm. or smaller and burning it at about 300 deg.C for about 1hr. It is sprinkled over water pools, muddy spots or soft areas of baseball ground, playground, etc., followed, when necessary, by levelling, rolling and addition of soil to restore good condition of the ground.

Dehydrated ettringite reacts with water that is 85 times its own weight, and in powder form, it has the ability to immobilize more than 200% of its own weight in water. By adding a small amount, you can turn puddles, muddy, and soft soil into dry soil. (2) You can easily improve soil in a short time.

Since it does not require large-scale improvement work such as inputting a large amount of improved soil or leveling the land, it can be easily performed by hand.

(3) 直ちに使用できる。(3) Can be used immediately.
