Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow free and easy change of the dimension of a work stocker by connecting and separating module units each composed of work storing compartments of the same structure to form the work stocker. CONSTITUTION:A work stocker 6 is composed of, as a whole, four modules MUL each having a length L, and each of the modules MUL is composed of work storing compartments 7 arranged vertically in three stages and longitudinally in five stages. The work stocker 6 is constructed in such a manner that modules can be connected and separated, so that enlargement or removal of the work stocker 6 can be executed in a unit of module MUL. Thus constructed, connection and separation of modules MUL each composed of work storing compartments 7 of the same structure arranged vertically and longitudinally provides free change of the dimension.

Further, a work stocker 6 is installed in the automatic machine tool equipment 1 along the rails 5, and the work stocker 6 is provided with a large number of work storage sections 7 divided into box shapes for storing and storing workpieces. have. The work stocker 6 has 14 modules MUL having a length of Ll, and each module MUL has work storage sections 7 of three stages in the vertical direction and five stages in the horizontal direction. In addition, the work stocker 6 is provided for each module so that it can be connected and separated, and its addition or removal is done in module units. In the case of this embodiment, three modules MUL are installed above the rail 5 in FIG. However, one module MUL is provided below the rail 5.

A loading station 9 is inserted and installed at an appropriate position corresponding to the workpiece storage section 7 at the bottom of the module MUL below the m2rEJ rail 5, and the loading station 9 automatically loads the workpieces mounted on the workpiece pallet. The workpiece is fed into the machine tool equipment 1 and further, the workpiece that has been processed by the machine tool 2 is carried out from the equipment 4111.

Since the automatic machine tool equipment 1 has the above configuration,
When the work to be machined by the machine tool 2 is loaded from the loading station 9 into the work storage sections 1 to 1, the transfer lift 3 loads the work into the loading station 9 and transfers the work into the work stocker 6. The workpieces are stored in a predetermined workpiece storage section 7 of the workpiece storage section 7, and the workpieces are further transported from the workpiece storage section 7 to the machine tool 2 to have each machine tool 2 perform a predetermined processing, and the finished workpieces are transferred from the machine tool wt2 to each workpiece. The workpieces are transported to the workpiece storage section 7 or the loading station 9, and processing operations are performed one after another.

Further, as already mentioned, the addition, removal, etc. of the work stocker 6 is carried out on a module-by-module basis. For example, when the number of machine tools 2 is reduced to one from the state shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, When the work stocker 6 is reduced from the previous 4-module configuration to a 3-module barrel configuration, 2-module configuration, and 1-module configuration, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the above-mentioned In the embodiment, a case has been described in which one module MUL of the work stocker 6 is composed of a total of 15 work storage sections 7, three stages in the vertical direction and five stages in the horizontal direction. It goes without saying that the configuration of the workpiece storage sections 7 can be configured in an appropriate number as needed. For example, there are 24 workpiece storage sections 7 in total, 4 stages in the vertical direction and 6 stages in the horizontal direction. It is also possible to construct one module MUL from the following.

(g) 0 Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the work stocker 6 is arranged in three stages in the vertical direction, five stages in the horizontal direction, etc.
Module M tJ consisting of work storage sections 7 with the same configuration
Since the IR is constructed in units of L and the work stockers 6 are connected and separated at the module MULIi level, the scale of the work stocker 6, that is, its configuration can be freely and easily changed. Moreover, since the configuration changes only in module units, the positioning control of the transfer lift 3 and the like with respect to the work stocker 6 is controlled by the module M.
In order to be able to perform the positioning accurately only within the U L, that is, once the standard position of both ends of the module MUL is known, the positioning for each work storage section 7 in the module can be performed accurately. By presetting the control system in advance, changes in the control system due to the addition or removal of the work stocker 6 can be made by specifying only the presence or absence of the module MUL in the transfer lift 30 control system, making it extremely easy to change the control system. It is easy to carry out, and flexible operation of equipment is possible.
It becomes ma.
