PURPOSE:To attain high speed switching of a filter constant and miniaturization by processing digitally an output signal of a photodetector assembled in an optical head and driving an objective lens in the optical head to follow an information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:After an output of a photodetector 1A assembled in the optical head 1 is converted into a digital data by an A/D converter 11, the data is inputted to a digital signal processing circuit 12, where various digital processings are conducted. The circuit 12 consists of, e.g., a digital filter and the constant of the filter part is switched by each control signal. A signal applied with a prescribed digital processing enters a D/A converter 13 and converted into an analog signal. The output of the converter 13 is inputted to a drive means 1B via a buffer amplifier 4 as a servo signal and the objective lens in the head 1 is controlled for driving. 定数を高速で切換えることが困難であり、又、アナログ
回路定数の切換では回路素子を定数切換数だけ準備して
おく必要があり装置が大形化するという不具合を有して
いた。

ルフィルタのみならず、任意の次数のフィルタを構成す
ることができる。尚、定数A1〜B2の切換は、外部コ
ントロール信号(第2図参照)によって速やかに行うこ
とができる。アナログ方式のアクチブフィルタのように
、回路素子を切換える必要がないので、装置が小形化で
きる。

取手段として用いた場合を例にとって説明したが、これ
に限る必要はなく讐村込手段、消去手段として用いる場
合についても同様のサーボ回路が構成される。或いはこ
れらの手段を複数個同時に具有するものであってもよい
