(b) Prior art and problems Generally, plate-like members and tubular members are joined by welding, brazing, etc., but the reliability of the joint is affected and thermal stress occurs due to temperature rise of the plate-like member. Warping and deformation occur in precisely formed plate-shaped members due to the relaxation of residual stress.
There was a problem that a highly accurate bonded body could not be obtained.

It has also been proposed to join a plate member and a tubular member by means of plastic working, but conventional methods of this type require several pressure forming steps and an annealing step. In addition to being expensive, there are limits to the height and wall thickness of the tubular members to be joined. In addition, due to the characteristics required for the joining member, the properties required for the plate-like member and the tubular member may differ, and in such cases, the materials of the plate-like member and the tubular member that make up the joining member may be different from those required. Although it is desirable to use different materials that match the characteristics, there are many restrictions on material selection when joining members of different materials by brazing or welding.

(d) Structure of the Invention The present invention is characterized in that a metal tubular member is inserted into a hole provided in a plate-shaped member and has a meshing portion on its peripheral surface, and the tubular member is expanded and deformed from the inner peripheral side. As a result, there is provided a coupling structure between a plate member and a tubular member in which the tubular member and the plate member are coupled with the meshing portion biting into the outer peripheral portion of the tubular member, and a metal tubular member is attached to the plate member. Providing a hole having a meshing portion at least at one location on the inner circumferential surface to be inserted;
A plate-like member and a tubular member, which include inserting the tubular member into the hole, then expanding and deforming the tubular member from the inside to expand the tube, and causing the meshing part of the hole to bite into the outer peripheral portion of the tubular member. The present invention provides a coupling method for achieving the above object.

(f) Effects of the invention As mentioned above, in the present invention, the plate-like member and the tubular member are:
After each is formed separately, the tubular member is inserted into the hole that has the toothing part of the plate member, and the tubular member is expanded from the inside, and the toothing part bites into the outer circumferential part of the tubular member and is then joined. be done. Therefore, the connection is extremely easy, and the material and surface treatment of the steel members can be arbitrarily selected depending on the characteristics required for each member. For this reason, there are no restrictions on material combinations that occur when joining by conventional brazing or welding. Furthermore, parts that were conventionally manufactured as a single piece by casting can now be made into plate-shaped members that are punched and bent if necessary, making it possible to use steel materials with a large Young's modulus and making one part lighter. and can be easily mass-produced.
