Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain easily the vertically inverted image by providing two vertical shift registers having different scanning direction and also providing a means selecting any shift register in response to application. CONSTITUTION:When ''1'' is added to a switching circuit 12 from a switching signal input terminal 13, a vertical shift register 1 is selected and an output of a photodiode 3 is outputted from a horizontal shift register 4 via vertical transmission lines V1-V4 in the order of horizontal scanning lines H1, H2, H3, H4. When ''0'' is added to the switching circuit 12 from the switching signal input terminal 13, the vertical shift register 11 is operated. Since the scanning direction of the vertical shift register 11 is inverted to that of the vertical shift register 1, a signal of V1, V2, V3, V4 is obtained in the order of horizontal scanning lines H4, H3, H2, H1 from an output terminal 6 so as to invert vertically the image.

Conventional Structure and Problems Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, this type of solid-state camera has a vertical shift register 1 and FETs 2, . A photodiode 3 connected to the same FET 2, a horizontal shift register 4, and an amplifier 6 are formed, and a vertical shift register 4 connects one horizontal
The output of the photodiode 3 is read out to the vertical transmission lines v1 to 4 through the FET 2 connected every 4, and this signal charge is taken out in time series by the horizontal/foot register 4, and then sent through the amplifier 6 to the output terminal 6 for solid-state imaging. This is so that it can be obtained as an element output.

しかしながら、このような固体カメラの場合。However, for solid-state cameras like this.

Since it is not scanned by an electron beam, it has the disadvantage that the image cannot be flipped upside down. In order to determine this ff:jfl'-11, it is possible to accomplish this by inverting it using an optical mirror or the like, but this poses a problem in terms of space and cost. Furthermore, using one camera for both purposes increases mechanical complexity.

In FIG. 2, 1 to 6 have the same functions as 1 to 6 in FIG. 11 is a vertical shift register whose scanning direction is opposite to that of vertical shift register 1; 13 is a switching signal input terminal; 12 is a vertical shift register 1.11
In this switching circuit, for example, if 1" is applied manually, shift register 1 is selected, and if ○" is applied, soft register 11 is selected, and F is selected according to the scanning.
The output of ET2 is supplied to the horizontal shift register 4 through vertical transmission lines v1 to 4.

Therefore, the switching signal input terminal 13': the switching circuit 12
When 1" is added to , vertical shift register 1 is selected, and the output of photodiode 3 is transferred from horizontal shift register 4 to horizontal scanning lines H1, H2,
The signals are output in the order of H5 and H4.

In addition, 41 (
) When 11 is added, the vertical shift register 11 operates. Since the scanning direction of the vertical shift register 11 is opposite to that of the vertical shift register 1, the horizontal scanning lines H4, H5, H2, H, etc. are outputted from the output terminal 6 in the order of v1v2, . . .
- A signal in the order of v4 is obtained, and it is possible to invert the image downward.
