Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a vibration damping rubber, by installing a stopper to an upper lever or lower lever. CONSTITUTION:A ring-like stopper 5 made of hard rubber and synthetic resin is adhered and fixed to the inner surface of the bottom end section of an upper lever 1a below a vibration damping rubber 2. The inner diameter of the stopper 5 is set in such a way that the inner diameter becomes larger than the diameter of a lower lever 1b. Therefore, the lower lever 1b does not contact with the stopper 5 and a prescribed gap S is maintained between them under a normal condition where no operational force is applied to the upper lever 1a.
