Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the wear of a magnetic tape and a magnetic head and also to attain reproduction of pictures even in fast forward and rewind modes, by shifting the head in the radius direction of a rotary drum with an indication of an indication means and by means of a piezoelectric element to secure a contact between the head and the tape.
