Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、化粧品及び医薬部外品で、主として歯牙表面
の汚れ、歯垢、歯石、歯牙間に入り込んだ残渣等の除去
により口腔内を清掃し、清潔を保つために日常的に使用
される歯磨剤に関する。
従来から極く一般的に使用されている歯磨剤は、研磨剤
、発泡剤、結合剤など、歯ブラシと研磨剤とによる物理
的な研磨力とそれに伴って口腔内に発生される泡によっ
て汚れを落とし洗い流すに足りる組成成分であった。　
このような歯磨剤では、ブラシと研磨剤とによる研磨力
を強くすると、歯牙表面のエナメル質等を傷付は易く、
そのため清掃効果にも自ずと限界があった。
本発明は、かかる実情に鑑み、光励起状態が関与する光
電気化学作用の有効利用により、物理的な力のみでは側
底達成し得ない程に高い清掃効果を発揮する歯磨剤全提
供する点に目的がある。
上記の目的全達成すべくなされた本発明に係る歯磨剤の
特徴は、研磨剤、発泡剤、結合剤等の歯磨剤成分中に、
光電極反応を生ずるＮ型半導体粉末が含有されている点
にあり、このような特徴を有する本発明の作用効果は次
の通りである。
つまり、剤成分中に含有されているＮ　ｆｉ（！！！半
導体粉末さ相隣る歯牙の周囲の歯垢等との間に、唾液等
の水分が介在している状態（歯磨作用時は常にこのよう
な状態にある）で、Ｏａ記半導体粉末に光（自然光でも
良い）を当てて電子励起すると、半導体粉末表面の空間
電荷層の電位勾配によって正孔を与えられ分極が起る。
　一方、歯牙の方は電子密度の差によって半導体粉末に
対し逆極性となる。　故に、半導体粉末周辺では唾液等
の水分から電子を放出する酸化反応が生起され、他方歯
牙周辺では唾液等の水分から電子を得る還元反応が生起
される。　即ち、光電極反応を有効利用して、歯垢や歯
石の付着に起因してｐＨが低下している歯牙を還元反応
により中和してｐＨ低下に起因する歯牙の脱灰を確実良
好に防止し、併せて分極作用により歯垢等を分解し、沈
着色素も分解する。　従って、全体として虫歯や歯槽膿
漏の予防、並びに歯牙の美麗化とを効果的に達成できる
ようになり、従来のように物理的な力のみによる清掃で
は到底達し得なかったほどに高い清掃効果音、歯牙のエ
ナメル質を傷付けることなく、達成できるに至った。　
また、特に歯磨剤は歯磨作用時において歯牙裏面も含め
て口腔内はぼ全域に行き渡り易いものであるから、歯ブ
ラシにＮ型半導体を付設させて同様な光電気化学作用全
利用するものに比べて、虫歯等の予防効果が一層高いの
である。
次に、本発明の詳細な説明する。
後記の表１に示すように、研磨剤としてリン酸水素カル
シウムを、湿潤剤としてソルビット液プロピレングリコ
ールを、発泡剤としてラウリル硫酸ナトリウムを、結合
剤としてカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムを、そ
の他、保存剤、精製水、香料、甘味料等を、及び殺菌剤
として塩酸クロルヘキシジンを用いた練歯磨剤組成成分
中に、溶液中において光起電力を生じ、歯磨時の光照射
に伴って光電極反応を生ずるＮ型半導体粉末を表１の如
き割合（重量パーセント）で添加含有させたものであっ
て、そのＮ型半導体粉末さしては、イルメナイ＋１−精
製し、焼成、粉砕することによって得られた二酸化チタ
ンの粉末を用いである。
表　１ 以下別の実施例全説明する。
（イ）実施例（表１）に示したもので、二酸化チタンの
含有割合の異なるもの。
（ロ）実施例（表１）に示したもので、二酸化チタン以
外の成分の割合が異なるもの。
ｅ→　Ｎ型半導体粉末として二酸化チタン以外のもので
、人体無害のもの。
に）実施例（表１）に示したもので、二酸化チタン及び
二酸化チタン以外の成分の割合が異なるもの。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 ■　研磨剤、発泡剤、結合剤等の歯磨剤成分中に、光電
    極反応を生ずるＮ型半導体粉末が含有されている歯磨剤
    。 ■　対象とする歯磨剤が、練歯磨である特許請求の範囲
    第０項に記載のもの。 ■　対象とする歯磨剤が、手練歯磨である特許請求の範
    囲第０項に記載のもの。 ■　対象とする歯磨剤が、粉歯磨である特許請求の範囲
    第０項に記載のもの。 ■　前記Ｎ型半導体粉末が、イルメナイトヲ精製し、焼
    成、粉砕することによって得られた二酸化チタンの粉末
    である特許請求の範囲第０項乃至第０項の何れかに記載
    の歯磨剤。
