Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable light irradiation over a wide range at a low consumed power by a method wherein a plurality of light emitting elements are mounted on all the surfaces of a luminous body which forms a fixed solid structure, this luminous body is contained into a package composed of a photo transmitting member, and the anode and cathode terminals of each element are connected to outer leads provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:A pluraity of light emitting element lamps 23 are mounted on a side plate 22a of the luminous body 22 in the form of a right pyramid, etc., which is placed on a substrate 22b whereon a plurality of the lamps 23 are likewise provided on the upper surface. Next, the luminous body 22 provided with the lamps 23 on each plane like this is contained into the dome package 20 composed of the photo transmitting member, and the anode terminal 23a and the cathode terminal 23b of the lamp 23 are connected to the two outer leads 21 projecting from the bottom surface thereof. Thus, a display of long lifetime and high reliability is obtained.

Several similar light-emitting element lamps 23 are also attached to the blue plate 22b forming the floor of the prayer body 22, as shown in the figure. The anode thorn 23m and cathode terminal 23b of each light-emitting element lamp 23 are electrically connected to the outer lead 2 led out from the back surface of the substrate 22b of the light-emitting body 22, as shown in FIG. . Here, the light emitter 2
The shape of the light emitting element lamp 23 is not limited to a regular square pyramid shape, but may be any shape as long as it can contain several light emitting element lamps 23 with a large number of β1. The light-emitting element lamp 23 is attached to the light-emitting body 22
It is also possible to form a light emitting body with a three-dimensional structure by several sleeves of surface light emitting elements without adding more light emitting elements.

Thus, the optical semiconductor light emitting display device 3 configured in this manner
According to No. 0, when electricity is applied, as shown in FIG. 3(B), when the light emitting body 22 has a regular square pyramidal three-dimensional structure, it has optical axes in four directions perpendicular to the side plate 22h. It emits light.

As a result, a wide area can be illuminated. In other words, compared to conventional lamps in which a large number of light emitting element lamps are simply installed in one plane, it is possible to illuminate with much higher brightness and with wider directivity. 1. The light source is composed of a light emitting element lamp 23, so if a notification of 20 mA is made, the power consumption is about 3 W.
Compared to tungsten fibers with an α-increased feed angle, they consume much less gravity, have high reliability, and have the same long lifespan.

As is clear from the above, the optical semiconductor light emitting display device according to the present invention has remarkable effects such as high reliability and long life, low power consumption, brightness, and wide directivity. It is something to play.
