Abstract

PURPOSE:To transport a sheet corrected by applying rigidity to the sheet corresponding to detachement and attachement of a cover member and to normally transport a sheet without any rigidity applied to the sheet by detachably disposing the cover member having a sheet guide portion formed at a part thereof among plural pairs of transport rollers. CONSTITUTION:A part 8 of a paper discharge cover 8 detachably or rotatably disposed on an apparatus main body has a function for further guiding a sheet fed from a sheet transport path 10, and the part 8 is extended between lower paper discharge rollers 91, 91'. The above part 8 is disposed in such a manner that the uppermost portion thereof is positioned above nip portions 93, 93' between upper paper discharge rollers 92, 92' and the lower paper discharge rollers 91, 91. ような場合には装置外へ搬送するための排紙ローラには
フランジを設け、装置内に(1)搬送する搬送路は別に
設けてフラッジなしとすれば良いが、排紙部から直接装
置内にシートを搬送するもの即ち、排紙部ローラ6を両
者に兼用しているような構成のものにおいてはその毎排
紙ローラをフランジ付のものとフラッジなしのものと交
換等しなければなら1゛非富に不便である欠点を有して
いたものであった。
