Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent overheating on the side of a rear cylinder, by a method wherein front and rear cylinders are provided respectively with oil jets faced thereto, and the oil jet quantity of the jet for the rear cylinder is set to be larger than that for the front cylinder by enlarging hole diameter or the like. CONSTITUTION:The front cylinder 6a and the rear cylinder 6b are provided respectively with the oil jets 11a, 11b faced thereto, and are forcibly cooled respectively by the oil jetted from the jets 11a, 11b. The oil jet quantity of the jet 11b for the rear cylinder 6b is set to be larger than that of the jet 11a for the front cylinder 6a by enlarging the hole diameter, thereby increasing the degree of cooling by the oil. Accordingly, it is made possible to prevent overheating of the rear cylinder from occurring due to the difference in cooling capacity of an airflow during running.

Conventionally, this type of device has an engine mounted in the middle of a vehicle body with front and rear heavy wheels, configured as a V-type engine in which a front cylinder and a rear cylinder are arranged in a substantially V-shape. I am not aware of any type in which the cylinder is guided by the traveling wind from the front and is cooled by air, but in this case, the amount of cooling by the traveling wind is somewhat different between the front cylinder and the rear cylinder. There is a difference between both cylinders, and overheating is more or less likely to occur in the rear cylinder.

The object of the present invention is to obtain a device that does not have such inconveniences. The present invention has an engine mounted in the middle of a vehicle body having front and rear wheels. In a V-type engine which is arranged in With each oil jet facing Jl, each cylinder is injected from each jet, forming a forced cooling J4 + twisting type with an oil jet, and 9:, 1 is applied to the cylinder on the n'67'2 side. 4','r characteristic is that the injection amount of the jet is increased by □, such as by increasing the diameter hole, as compared to the jet facing the front cylinder.

In this case, the front cylinder (6a) 4j is affected by the traveling wind relatively more frequently than the wandering cylinder (6b), and is air-cooled relatively well. In other words, the amount of cooling in the rear cylinder (6b) decreases to some extent, and some heat is generated due to this)11? That's it. Incidentally, this tendency is particularly remarkable in the case of a type in which the front cylinder (6a) extends approximately directly upwards and is located in front of the rear cylinder (6a).

The present invention corrects this, and the front cylinder (6
a) and the rear cylinder (6b) so that each oil jet (11a) (1ib) facing the rear cylinder (6b) is forcibly cooled by each oil injected from (11a) (1lb). and further, at this time, the jet (11) facing the rear cylinder (6b) (IH) facing the front cylinder (6B))
