Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、封止すべき容器の周囲のフランジと係合する
内方に延びている環状のスナップ・リブを備えた弾力的
に変形可能なプラスチック材料製の容器蓋に関する。
例えば、ペンキ容器の如き容器のための密閉用蓋として
使用される型式の蓋は、有効の封止状態のため容器の蓋
の材料に強力な応力を生ぜしめ、取外すことがしばしば
困難となる。
本発明の目的は、密封容器蓋を容器から取り外すことを
容易にすることにあり、これは、スナップ・リブに隣接
する蓋フランジが、二安定スナップ・キャップを構成す
る周部の解除用フランジに合体することにより達成され
、前記の解除用フランジは、張力を与こられた状態で容
器のフランジに当接する下方に延びる位置から、スナッ
プ・リブが前記容器のフランジから外れるかあるいはこ
のフランジと減少した張力で当接する上方に存在する解
除位置へ湾曲可能である。
前記蓋のフランジと解除用フランジは二安定トグル・ジ
ョイントのリンクを構成し、これらのフランジ間の部分
は蝶番部を構成し、そして解除用フランジの環状に作用
する張力は、このフランジの１つの位置において前記ス
ナップ・リブと前記容器のフランジを強固に一体状態に
保持するように、また他の位置においてはスナツプ・リ
ブを前記容器のフランジから外れるか、あるいはこれと
わずかにしか接触しないように保持するように補助する
はねとして作用する。
容器を取り扱う人が自分の指を解除用フランジの下側に
沿つて移動させることにより、この解除用フランジを曲
がり位置まで容易に折曲げることができ、この曲がり位
置にて環状張力は最大となり、このため解除用フランジ
をその解除位置まで跳上げることを可能にする。解除位
置にて、蓋は容易に取り外すことができ、また容器の使
用中は、その内用物を一時的に保護するため蓋を容器に
緩く嵌合せしめておくことができる。本発明による容器
蓋は、蓋フランジの内側壁面に環状凹部を備えているこ
とを特徴とし、この凹部がスナツプ・リブの真上で前記
蓋フランジの薄い折曲け可能な部分に向つて円錐状態に
下方に拡がつている。
この容器蓋は軸方向に張力が与えられる蓋に関して特に
適当なものであり、蓋の下面が容器の開口縁部と狭い封
止線に沿つて強固に当接し、蓋のフランジは容器の開口
部の半径方向外側に位置して曲げモーメントを伝えるお
それもなく鋭く曲がつて蓋の表面自体と一体化する。こ
の蓋は、容器の開口部の縁部と容器フランジの下側との
間の距離が、蓋の封止線と取り外された蓋の前記の蓋フ
ランジにおけるスナツプ・リブの頂部側との間の垂直方
向の距離よりも大きいため、軸方向に張力が与えられる
。容器にこの蓋を定置すると蓋フランジに強力な軸方向
の張力が生じ、この張力は、容器の開口部と蓋との間の
封止線における単位面積当りの所要圧力が大きければ大
きい程、大きくなる。蓋フランジが単に軸方向に張力を
与えられ、このため引張力しかうけないため、蓋フラン
ジと解除用フランジ間の結合部は比較的壁面の肉厚が薄
くてよく、このため解除用フランジをその１つの位置か
ら他の位置へ折り曲げるには、実際に解除用フランジの
周部の最大張力を克服するだけでよい。もし容器の蓋が
軸方向の張力のみで封止されるならば、環状の張力が封
止位置または解除用フランジの解除位置のどちらにおい
て大となるかは重要な問題ではない。
解除用フランジは、多数の容器が相互に隣接して配置さ
れる時の問題を避けるため、容器壁面に沿つて実質的に
垂直方向下方に延びるように構成できる。本発明につい
ては以下に図面に関して更に詳細に説明することにする
。
第１図乃至第３図に示された容器蓋は、平面１と、実質
的に軸方向の内側フランジ部５を経て前記平面１と結合
する半径方向のフランジ部４に、円・唯状の縁部３を介
して、融合する、実質的に軸方向の、使用中は下方に延
びている蓋フランジ２とを有する。
この半径方向のフランジ部４の下面には、軸方向の案内
リブ６と、狭い封止線に沿つて容器の開口部の縁部と当
接する鋭い封止リブ７とが設けられている。容器が強固
に封止される時、蓋フランジ２の内側のスナツプ・リブ
８は、容器の壁面１０から延びている容器フランジ９の
端部の固定縁部と当接する。第３図は、点線により、蓋
が容器に緩く定置される時の円錐状の縁部３の位置を示
している。この位置においては、容器の開口縁部から容
器のフランジ９の下方に延びている固定縁部までの垂直
方向の距離は、封止用リブ７からスナツプ・リブ８の頂
部までの垂直方向距離よりも大きい。蓋が容器に強固に
定置される時、円錐状の縁部３は、軸方向の力により実
線で示される如く押下げられ、このためスナツプ・リブ
８は容器のフランジ９の固定縁部と係合する。蓋フラン
ジ２は、このため、軸方向の引張力を受け、封止用リブ
７を容器開口部に対して強力に押しつける。スナツプ・
リブ８の真上においては、蓋フランジ２には環伏の凹部
１１が設けられ、薄い壁面部１２を介して、その釣止位
置において図に示す如く下方に延びる解除用フランジ１
３と合体する。
容器の使用者が蓋を開けたいと思う時、彼は封止フラン
ジ１３の下面に沿つて指を移動して外方に増加する圧力
を及ぼし、これにより環状の張力を最大になるように増
加させ、その結果フランジは突如図において点線で示す
その上方位置に向けて跳び上がり、ここでスナツプ・リ
ブ８．が容器フランジ９から外れる。解除用フランジ１
３は、このように、蓋フランジ２に蝶着されて、薄い側
面部１２によつて二安定トグル・ジヨイントとして作用
する。解除用フランジ１３が、封止位置において容器壁
面から半径方向外側に延びるような形状である場合、環
状張力が増加してスナツプ・リブ８と容器フランジ９と
の間に固い相互係合関係を生じることになる。二安定ス
ナツプ・キヤツチの解除用フランジを有する本発明によ
る容器蓋は、図において示された実施例とは異なる形状
のものでもよい。
特に、蓋の周部は、食品の貯蔵用容器、弁当箱、食品バ
ケツト等のような対応する多角形状の容器に適合するよ
うに丸い隅部を有する正多角形の形状でもよい。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 閉止されるべき容器の周囲のフランジ９と係合する
    内側の環状スナップ・リブ８が設けられた下方に延びて
    いる蓋フランジ２を有する弾力的に変形可能なプラスチ
    ック材料製の容器蓋であつて、前記スナップ・リブ８に
    隣接する前記蓋フランジ２が二安定スナップ・キヤッチ
    を構成する環状の解除用フランジ１３に合体し、前記解
    除用フランジ１３は、スナップ・リブ８が張力の作用す
    る条件において容器のフランジ９と当接可能である下方
    に延びた位置から、前記スナップ・リブが容器のフラン
    ジから外れるか、あるいは容器のフランジと僅かな張力
    で当接する上方に延びた位置へ湾曲可能であるところの
    容器蓋において、（ａ）該蓋フランジ２は、容器の口か
    ら半径方向に一定距離を隔だてて外側に位置しており、
    かつ（ｂ）鋭く曲がつて蓋の円錐状縁部３に合体してお
    り、（ｃ）解除用フランジ１３が下方に延びた位置にあ
    つて蓋が応力を受けていない時、容器の口の縁部と容器
    のフランジ９の下方縁部との間の垂直距離が蓋の封止線
    ７とスナップ・リブ８の上面との間の垂直距離よりも大
    きく、そして（ｄ）蓋フランジ２の内側壁面に環状凹部
    １１が設けられ、該環状凹部１１は該スナップ・リブ８
    の真上にある蓋フランジの薄い弾性部分１２まで円錐状
    に下向きに拡がつていることを特徴とする容器蓋。 ２ 該解除用フランジ１３が封止位置にある時実質的に
    軸方向に延びるような形状である特許請求の範囲第１項
    記載の容器蓋。
