In general, in a conventional fluorescent lamp, as shown in Figure 1, a fluorescent substance is coated on the inner wall of a glass tube a of a predetermined shape, and tungsten filament electrodes b (coated with an alkaline earth metal) are placed at both ends. ) is attached, and after the glass tube a is evacuated by the exhaust pipe C, appropriate amounts of mercury and argon are inscribed, and the caps d are attached to both ends of the glass tube a, and the cap pins e are connected to the electrodes. It has a structure in which it is electrically connected to the lead-in line f.

The light is emitted when mercury is excited by the discharge between the electrodes.
The generated ultraviolet rays are absorbed by fluorescent substances, but the luminous flux may change significantly as the ambient temperature changes.Especially at low temperatures, the vapor pressure of the engraved mercury is low.
Since the excitation and ionization are reduced, the discharge is not sustained, resulting in the inconvenience that it becomes difficult to light up or does not light up at all.

However, in this case, for example, the heater is arranged close to the glass tube, or the heater is wrapped around the glass tube, which not only results in poor thermal efficiency for heating, but also makes the heater susceptible to oxidation. It cannot be used for a long period of time, and furthermore, the heater obstructs the light rays irradiated from the glass tube and must be handled with care so as not to break the heater, which poses problems in terms of parts management.

The present invention, which has been developed to achieve the above object, has a rectangular dish shape, and has a horizontally projecting frame on its periphery.
A fluorescent lamp in which a pair of hot cathode electrodes are arranged at both longitudinal ends of the lamp body so as to face each other, with the frame portions of a pair of members having their recessed surfaces coated with a fluorescent material overlapping each other. In the lamp, a preheater is disposed within the lamp body and along the length of the lamp body between the pair of electrodes, and an end of the preheater is fixed to an overlapped portion of a side surface of the lamp. 2 derived from the polymerized part
A fluorescent lamp having a structure that is held and fixed by a lead-in wire of a book,
Since the preheating heater is housed within the lamp body,
It has high thermal efficiency and will not break due to oxidation or careless handling.

Reference numeral 2 denotes an electrode (made of tungsten filament and coated with an alkaline earth metal) attached to the tips of the two lead-in wires 3, and a frame positioned in the width direction of the member 10 at the middle part of the lead-in wire 3. By temporarily fixing or fixing the portion 1a, the two electrodes are arranged to face each other at both ends of the member 1 in the length direction.

When forming a fluorescent lamp, when the members 1 are polymerized to form the lamp body, the lead-in wire 3 that holds the electrode 2 and the lead-in wire 5 that holds the preheater 4 are placed at the predetermined positions as described above, and the frame is assembled. The electrode 2 and preheater 4 may be inserted between the portions 1a and attached using frit glass or the like at the same time as the frame portion 1a arrives.

As explained above, since the preheater is disposed within the fluorescent lamp &'J lamp body of the present invention and between the pair of electrodes, the thermal efficiency is much higher than that of a heater provided externally. By controlling the temperature of the preheater and the preheater, it is possible to always adjust the vapor pressure of mercury inside the lamp body to an appropriate value, and as a result, changes in luminous flux and unstable discharge can be prevented in response to changes in the ambient temperature. In addition to eliminating inconveniences such as non-lighting, the preheater does not oxidize and can be used for a long period of time, which is an excellent effect.

In addition, since the preheating heater is installed inside, there is no need for an external mounting structure for the preheating heater, which simplifies the configuration and prevents the heater from being accidentally disconnected during handling, making parts management easier. It also has effects such as excellent durability and vibration resistance.
