Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は身体面からの電気信号を電極パッドを通して心
電図記録装置や脳波記録装置などの電気記録装置に伝え
る電極パッドに関するものである。
これらの物品において、電極と身体面との密着状態を保
持するために、バンド、粘着テープなどが使用されてい
たが電気的ノイズが多く発生するために、ペースト状の
導電性クリームが用いられるようになった。
該クリームの使用は、ノイズ解消には効果的であるが、
取扱い特に使用後の身体面又は電極面残留クリームの処
理が煩雑であるという問題がある。
近侍多孔性キャリヤ中にポリビニルアルコールを架橋又
はゲル化したヒドロゲルを浸透状態で保持した導電性ゲ
ルパッドと電極とを組み合せた電極パッドが提案されて
いるが、ヒドロゲルの凝集力が小さい（そのためにキャ
リヤがゲル保持体として使用されている）ために、使用
後身体面にヒドロゲルが残留付着するものである。
本考案の電極パッドは、身体面と電極との間に空隙が形
成されることなく全面的に密着すると共に安定した記録
が通電開好と共に得られ、しかも取扱いが至便である。
以下本考案の実例を図面を用いて具体的に説明する。
図面において、１はリード線、２は金属製電極、３は粘
着性架橋型含水ゲルパッドである。
該パッド３はポリアクリル酸及び／又はポリアクリル酸
塩例えばポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリアクリル酸カ
リウム、ポリアクリル酸アンモニウムなどと、架橋成分
としてのトリグリシジルイソシアネート、ポリニジレン
ゲリコールジグリシジルエーテル、エチレングリコール
ジグリシジルエーテル、グリセリンジグリシジルエーテ
ル、グリセリントリグリシジルエーテルの如き分子中に
少なくとも２個のエポキシ基を有する化合物と水と、必
要に応じてグリセリン、プロピレングリコール、ポリプ
ロピレングリコール、エチレングリコール、ポリエチレ
ンクリコール、ジエチレングコール、トリエチレングリ
コールの如き多価アルコールを配合してなるものであっ
て、更にこれに電解物質、ＰＨ調整剤、可撓性付与剤の
如き配合物質を加えてなる粘着性架橋型含水ゲルは、身
体面に対する粘着性がより良好で、しかも電導性が良好
なので、特に好ましい電極パッドを得ることができる。
なお含水ゲル中の水は５〜９５重量％の割合で含有させ
ることができ、水は電解物質例えば塩化ナトリウム、塩
化カリウムなどを溶解して良好な電解相を構成し、含水
ゲルに好ましい電導性を付与するものである。
本考案の電極パッドは、電極の身体面接触側にポリアク
リル酸及び／又はポリアクリル酸塩と水と分子中に少な
くとも２個のエポキシ基を有する化合物とから構成した
粘着性架橋型含水ゲルパッドを設けたから、電極と身体
面との間に空隙を形成することがなく確実に粘着するば
かりか、水を含有するから電解物質と相乗作用によって
電導性が良好であるという特徴を有する。
しかも分子中に２個のエポキシ基を有する化合物で架橋
したので架橋密度が高く凝集性にすぐれているので使用
後身体面にゲルの一部が残留することがないという実用
上天なる利点を有する。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 電極と、該電極に接続したポリアクリル酸及び／又はポ
    リアクリル酸塩と水と分子中に少なくとも２個のエポキ
    シ基を有する化合物とからなる粘着性架橋型含水ゲルパ
    ッドとからなる電極パッド。
