The paper is fed by driving the feed roller 5 by the rotation of the mokuro. Therefore, after the recording paper 2 is cut by the cutter 7, the motor 6 is immediately stopped, and the next recording starts from this stop position.
There was a problem in that the recording paper portion up to the contact point of the back row 23 was completely wasted.

To provide a thermal device which rewinds the cut edge of paper to the vicinity of the contact point between a back roller and a recording head, and maintains the stretched state of the paper during this rewinding.

するためのものである。FIG. 2 shows that the thermal recording device of the present invention cuts the recording paper 2 into the cutter 7.
This shows the state immediately after cutting. A device is provided between the thermal paper roll 1 and the back roller 3 to constantly spread the recording paper 2. In FIG. 2, the contact piece 11 is pivoted to a fixed point, and the recording paper 2 is constantly moved through the contact piece 11 by the arrow A.
An example is shown in which a spring 12 is provided to push the device toward. The back row 23 is connected to the motor 9 so as to be directly driven by the motor 9.
The forward and reverse rotations of the motor 9 result in forward and reverse rotation. The pinch roller 8 is driven by the back roller 3 and inserts the recording paper 2 between it and the back row 23 to move the recording paper 2 forward or backward. The guide 10 is provided along the recording paper path between the back roller 3 and the pinch roller 8 and the cutter, and is intended to prevent the recording paper 2 from twisting while moving back and forth.

As mentioned above, when the cutter 7 receives a pulse indicating cutting, the number of pulses corresponds to the total rotation angle of the back roller 3 necessary to rewind the recording paper 2 from the state shown in FIG. 2 to the state shown in FIG. pulses are supplied to the motor 9. This causes motor 9
is reversed and stopped at the position shown in Figure 3.

Since the recording paper 2 is pressed in the direction indicated by the arrow by the pressing force, the recording paper 2 always maintains a stretched state. Therefore, when the back roller 3 is subsequently rotated forward, the recording paper will not be twisted.

な弾性片であってもよい。FIG. 4 shows another example in which the recording paper 2 is constantly stretched between the recording paper roll 1 and the back roller 3.
One end of the resin piece 13 is fixedly supported on a peripheral fixed body, and at this time, the resin piece 13
deflect the mounting direction inward. In this way, the excess amount of the recording paper 20 when the back roller 3 is reversed can be absorbed as shown in the figure, and the recording paper 2 can be kept in a stretched state at all times. Note that the material is not limited to a resin piece, but may be an appropriate elastic piece.
