DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention involves the wrapping of coins, i.e., stacking a predetermined number of counted coins, wrapping approximately two wraps of wrapping paper around the circumference, and cutting the wrapped paper. This invention relates to preventing slack in the supply of wrapping paper when wrapping coins by crimping.

However, the paper feed rollers used as levers include a paper feed roller 3 whose position is fixed and rotation is transmitted to it, and a paper feed roller 4 which comes into contact with and separates from the paper feed roller 3 through the tip of the wrapping paper 1 and rotates freely.
It consists of. Further, the rotation is transmitted from the drive gear 5 to the packaging rollers T, 8, 9 supported by the roller arm via the gear group 6, and each packaging roller 1, 8, 9 can be adjusted to move toward their center position. It's getting old.

A cutter 10 is provided between the rollers T, 8, 9 and the paper feed rollers 3, 4.
In conjunction with the denomination setting handle that is set according to the denomination to be wrapped, in the case of large-diameter coins, it is close to the paper feed rollers 3 and 4,
In the case of small-diameter coins, the positions of the wrapping rollers T, 8, and 9 are changed so that the wrapping paper 1 is wrapped approximately twice, but the distance between the cutter and the wrapping section is changed. . However, since the denomination setting handle is located in the operation part, that is, on the top of the machine, and the cutter 10 is located in the packaging part, that is, in the lower part of the machine, a number of levers, cams, shafts, etc. are used to link the two. As a result, the structure was complicated and the space occupied inside the machine was large, causing many problems. Furthermore, in order to move the cutter 10, a considerable distance is required between the paper feed roller and the wrapping roller, and there is also a problem in guiding the leading edge of the wrapping paper between them. Furthermore, said spacing changes were accompanied by difficulties in moving large parts of mass. However, there is no need to adjust the movement of the cutter, and at least one of the paper feed rollers is driven and is always in pressure contact to hold the leading edge of the wrapping paper. However, if the wrapping paper becomes loose, etc. This invention is intended to prevent the disadvantage of loose winding when overrun occurs due to inertia in the wrapping paper roll, paper feed roller, etc., and will be described in detail with reference to embodiments of the present invention.

As in the past, each wrapping roller 7, 8, 9 is supported by a plurality of roller arms 11, links 12, etc., and each roller 7, 8, 9 is adapted to the diameter of the coin to be wrapped by setting the denomination setting handle. The rollers 7, 8, and 9 are set at a distance from the center of the rollers, and each of the rollers 7, 8, and 9 is rotated by a gear group 6 that is interlocked with a drive gear 5.

Power is transmitted from this gear group 6 through a transmission system such as a gear 13 or a belt to a clutch gear 15 which is engaged and disengaged by an electromagnetic clutch 14, and the shaft of this gear 15 is connected to the paper feed roller 4. Furthermore, the gear 15 meshes with an interlocking gear 16 connected to the shaft of the other paper feed roller 3.

However, each packaging roller 7, 8, 9 is controlled by these gears.
The paper feed rollers 3 and 4 are designed to have the same circumferential speed. Therefore, the amount of wrapping paper fed out by the paper feed roller and the amount wrapped around the coin are the same. The coins a are supplied onto the rotating disk 17, and are sent along the guide 18 into the sorting passage 19 under the action of centrifugal force due to the rotation of the disk 17, where different types of coins are sorted and removed, and the coins a in the passage 19 are

When the count by the counting gear 21 reaches a preset amount, the rotation of the gear 21 is locked, so that no coins are sent to the collecting tube 23 either.

At this time, the shutter 22 is opened, and the coins that were previously stacked on the support rod (not shown) located at the bottom of the shutter 22 are delivered, and the coins are wrapped while being supported by the support rod. When it descends to the center position of the rollers 7, 8, 9 and reaches inside the wrapping roller, each wrapping roller 7, 8, 9 approaches the center position and comes into contact with the coin.

The wrapping rollers 7, 8, and 9 are rotated by roller gears 7', 8', and 9' in the gear group 6, respectively, by the rotation of the first driving gear 5, and the coins held therein are also rotated. However, since the electromagnetic clutch 14 via the gear 13 is not operating, the clutch is disengaged and the reclutch gear 15 is not rotating. The electromagnetic clutch 14 is then actuated, for example by a switch actuated by a setting shaft or a camshaft (not shown).
The electromagnetic clutch 14 is engaged and the interlocking gear 16 is rotated, so that the feed rollers 4 and 3 are also rotated in contact with each other.
On the other hand, the leading edge of the wrapping paper pulled out from the rolled wrapping paper 1 is sandwiched between the paper feed rollers 3 and 4 via the idle roller 2, so that the leading edge of the wrapping paper is held between the coin and the wrapping roller 7. 8 and 9, and the wrapping paper is wrapped around the coin in conjunction with the feed amount of the paper feed rollers 3 and 4.

Then, the switch that operated the electromagnetic clutch 14 is opened at a timing corresponding to the diameter of the coin, and the rotation of the clutch gear 15 and interlocking gear 16 is stopped. Due to this timing, the coin is wrapped around the coin in a good manner by approximately two turns. Paper feed roller. When the rotation of the wrapping paper 3 and 4 stops, the wrapping paper is held in a prone state, and the driving force is lost, the speed decreases and the wrapping paper stops. As each wrapping roller 7, 8, and 9 continues to rotate, the wrapping paper is held by both rollers. Since tension is applied between 3, 4 and 7, 8, 9, the wrapping paper 1 is strongly contacted with the cutter 10 and cut.

As is well known, both ends of the wrapped wrapping paper are crimped by the crimping claws, and then the above-mentioned support rods are also moved outward, and the wrapping rollers 7, 8, and 9 are spaced apart from their center positions. The wrapped coin falls downward and is taken out. Note that the wrapping paper 1, which had been forcibly pulled out by the paper feed rollers 3 and 4, loses its driving force when the electromagnetic clutch 14 disengages, and is removed. When the paper rollers 3 and 4 stop, the wrapping paper 1 is abruptly stopped from being pulled out from the roll.

Therefore, in this case, the wrapping paper is excessively pulled out between the roll portion and the paper feed roller due to inertia. Particularly in high-speed packaging, this effect is significant, so the present invention reduces the amount pulled out by this inertia to the tension roller 25.
By providing this to prevent the wrapping paper 1 from sagging, high-speed packaging becomes possible, and the next wrapping operation also becomes easier. That is, the tension roller 25 is supported by a tension arm 27 centered on a support shaft 26, and a spring 28 keeps the tension roller 25 in constant contact with the wrapping paper 1. Therefore, while the wrapping paper 1 is being fed out, the tension roller 25/ is located at the position indicated by the chain line in the drawing, and operates as shown in the drawing in response to loosening of the wrapping paper 1. Furthermore,
The power is derived from an electromagnetic clutch and a set of gears that drive the packaging roller, but even if the design is changed to drive the paper feed roller by a drive source such as a motor that operates at the same timing as the electromagnetic clutch engages and disengages, it will not work. It is clear that the object of the invention can be achieved. In this way, since the paper feeding rollers are always in a state of tightly holding the wrapping paper, the construction is extremely simple and the paper feeding can be carried out reliably and accurately on average to produce a good wrapping condition.
