動カニニットを前後車輪間に搭載すると共に、クランク
軸の軸線をシリンダの軸線よシ、前方或いは後方に偏し
て配置した点に特徴がある。

ダの軸線よシ前方或いは後方に偏して配置したものであ
るから、エンジン或いは変速機の前後に配置される部品
の大小、及びエンジンの前後に残された空間の大小に応
じて動カニニットの上部のみ、或いは下部のみを車体の
前方へ移動させることができる。したがって、エンジン
後方の上部或いは下部に部分的に空間が得られ、車両の
小型化及び軽量化が可能となる。よって車両の取扱を容
易にでき、且つ製造コストを低減できる効果がある。
