CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 2 is ON, relays 3 and 4 are ON and a voltage is added to a glow-plug 5 for rapid preheating. When the key switch is positioned to ST, the relay 4 is OFF to arrange an intake heater 6 and the glow- plug 5 in series to preheat stably. When the key switch is returned to ON-position, preheating is changed over to afterheating, and warming is kept for a fixed time by the glow-plug 5 and the intake heater 6. Then, the relay 3 is OFF to finish warming. This construction permits to shorten the starting time by rapid preheating and improve the stability after starting.

にエンジンがかかりキースイッチ2a−ON位置に戻す
ことにより、予熱よシアフタ−ヒートへと変わ勺一定時
間吸入空気ケグロープラグ5、インテークヒータ6で共
に暖気し、その後リレー3もOFFし、本システム動作
は終了する。なお本システムにおけるグロープラグ5は
、バッテリ電圧より低い定格(バッテリ電圧の70〜8
0%定格)のものであシ、これによシ急速予熱會傅てい
るが、インテークヒータ6と直列にすると、はぼ定格で
の使用状態になる。以上の通電タイムチャートを第2図
に示す。
