Claims (1)
ると共に、該透明体の内面にプリズムを取付けて、光源
から光を透明体に照射し、眩光の光路が透明体の外面に
付着した雨滴等により変化したときこれを受光部で検知
するように構成した雨滴センサにおいて、前記プリズム
を複数個のプリズム片から形成し、該プリズム片間にギ
ャップ部を設けて、外光をプリズム片と該ギャップ部と
の境界面で全反射させて受光部に入射しないように構成
してなることを特徴とする雨滴センサ。A light-receiving section is placed inside a transparent object such as a window glass, and a prism is attached to the inner surface of the transparent object. Light from a light source is irradiated onto the transparent object, and the optical path of the dazzling light is reflected by raindrops attached to the outer surface of the transparent object. In the raindrop sensor, the prism is formed from a plurality of prism pieces, and a gap is provided between the prism pieces, so that external light is transmitted between the prism pieces and the raindrop sensor. A raindrop sensor characterized in that it is configured to cause total reflection at an interface with a gap part and prevent it from entering a light receiving part.
