複数のベーンを放射状に摺動可能に保持するロータと、
このロータを内部に収容しその内周カム面に前記各ベー
ンの先端が摺接されるカムリングと、このカムリングの
両側面に檜接して前記各ベーンにより区画される複数の
ポンプ室を形成スる一対のサイドプレートとをポンプハ
ウジングの中空室内に位置決め保持し、かつ前記ポンプ
室の膨張行程に対応する部分と圧縮行程に対応する部分
にて前記両サイドプレートの少くとも一方に吸入ポート
と吐出ポートを設けるとともに、同サイドプレートの前
記カムリングに対向する側とは反対側に前記吐出ポート
に連通ずる圧力室を設けてなるベーンポンプにおいて、
前記サイドプレート前記圧力室側側面に前記カムリング
の最大内径より大径の外周とその最少内径より小径の内
周とを有する環状凹所を設けて、この環状凹所の形成部
分を環状の撓み部としたことを特徴とするベーンポンプ
。
