、このカムリングのカム面に摺接する複数のベーンを保
時持するロータと、前記カムリングならびにロータの側
面に対接してカムリングならびロータ間にポンプ室を形
成するサイドプレートとイこのサイドプレートに膨張行
程あるいは圧縮行程を行うポンプ室にそれぞれ通じる吸
入ポートならびに吐出ポートを有するベーンポンプにお
いて、前記カムリングの外周に吸入ポートに対応して２
面幅をもたせた欠除部を、その外周に吸入ポートが開口
するよう形成したことを特徴とする゛ベーンポンプ。A cam ring housed in a hollow chamber of a pump housing, a rotor that retains a plurality of vanes that are in sliding contact with the cam surface of the cam ring, and a pump chamber formed between the cam ring and the rotor in opposition to the cam ring and the side surface of the rotor.
