Abstract

PURPOSE:To accumulate information related to a bank note together with the bank note to grasp the abnormal transaction status easily and to prevent the titled device from stop at the generation of abnormal status by preparing printing paper in the transacting device and printing out the information related to the bank note charged again in the device. CONSTITUTION:A bank note A charged from a charging port 1 of the cash transacting device is carried to a discrimination part 2, which discriminates legarity/illegarity of the bank note, the kind of the bank note and the number by a command from a control part 4. When the bank note is legal, it is sent to a pool part 3. When the discriminated result by the discrimination part 2 is illegal, a gate G1 is switched and the bank note is stored in a return pool part 11. A canister 9 storing printing paper B is built in the transacting device to take out the paper B from a paper extracting part 8 by a control signal C4 from a control part 4 and carry the paper B to the position of a printing part 10. The discriminated result of the discrimination part 2 is printed out on the paper B by a printing command P from the control part 4 and the printed paper is discharged from the pool part 11 through a return port 6 and stored in a reject cash box 7 together with bank notes A1, A2 which are not taken out by the customer to grasp the abnormal status of transaction.

(b) Prior Art and Problems Automatic cash multiplication devices automatically perform deposits and withdrawals based on customer operations. However, the customer may not receive the bill. In such a case, the automatic retrieval function is activated and the banknotes at the withdrawal port are taken into the device to prevent the banknotes from being lost. However, as a result of re-discriminating the captured banknotes, there are cases where the amount of the captured banknotes and the amount at the time of withdrawal tend to match (for example, when the banknotes are replaced at the withdrawal port). When such a situation occurs, the conventional apparatus has the disadvantage that the operation of the apparatus must be immediately stopped and that the acquisition status cannot be grasped.

(d) Structure of the Invention The present invention provides an apparatus having a transaction port into which banknotes are inserted/ejected, and in which banknotes are deposited/disbursed through the one transaction port.
means for taking in the banknotes discharged into the transaction opening into the device; a discrimination means for counting the taken banknotes by occupation;
The banknotes are provided with a storage section for classified banknotes, a paper section, and a printing section, and the banknotes discharged to the transaction port are discriminated, and after the verified banknotes are stored in the storage section, they are taken out from the paper section. The automatic teller machine is characterized in that the discrimination data is printed on a sheet of paper, and the printed sheet is stored in the storage section. The present invention also includes means for using the paper as a payment slip (receipt on which the payment amount is printed) during normal operation. As described above, in the present invention, when a banknote once discharged into a transaction port is taken into the device again for discrimination, if the result of the judgment is abnormal, the judgment data indicating the abnormality is recorded together with the taken banknote. It has means for accommodating paper.

The implementation example is an automatic deposit machine. In FIG. 1, banknotes inserted through the input slot 1 are sent to the validation section 2,
The authenticity, denomination identification, number of coins, and cumulative total are calculated. When the discrimination result is normal, the banknotes are sent to the pool section 3 because the banknotes are at position e as shown in the figure.

Next, in response to a deposit command from the control section 4, the banknotes A in the pool section 3 are stored in the deposit safe 5. On the other hand, when the discrimination result is "no", the gate G1 is switched from the position ffte to f by the control signal C7 from the discrimination section 2. Therefore, the banknotes that have been verified are sent downward to the return pool section 1.
It is stored in 1. If there are multiple banknotes A, they are stored here until all banknotes have been verified. Upon completion of the discrimination, the banknotes A in the return pool section 11 are discharged to the return slot 6 according to a discharge command R output from the control section 4. The above is an overview of automatic deposit operations.

If the banknotes discharged to the return slot 6 as described above are still within the 1st banknote (3-V'7C which the customer has not received) even after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, a retrieval command is issued from the control unit 4. is taken into the device. That is, the banknote A is stored in the reject safe 7 via the return pool section 11. Next, the paper take-out part 8 is activated by the control signal C4 from the control part 4, whereby paper B (same size as the banknote A) is taken out from the canister 9 and sent to the printing part 10. Control unit 4
Information related to the above-mentioned discrimination result is printed on the paper BK in response to a print command P from , and the printed paper B' is stored in the ejection safe 7. As shown in the figure, the banknote AI (or paper) and related information are printed in the reject money [7], and the next paper B1 (or paper B) is stored in one place, causing an abnormality. Figure 2 shows an example of printing on paper B.

Paper B in the canister 9 can also be used as a receipt for recording deposit data. If the deposit from the input slot 1 is normal, the control signal CmK from the control unit 4 causes the gate G! The position can be switched from 1th to jK. On the other hand, receiving the control signal C4, the paper take-out section 8 takes out the paper B from the printer 9 and sends it to the printing section IO. Print. This printed paper (Ba) is discharged to the return slot 6 via the return pool section 11.
